15.01.2022 The Soshine H4 is one of the most sophisticated battery chargers on the market. The main difference to others is it ability to control each bays charge rate, each bay can be set to 250ma, 500ma or 1amp current rate. unlike others the Soshine chargers will remain at the the same current rate regardless of how many bays are in use. most other chargers on the market may state 1amp charge rate, but that is a shared rate, for example with one battery it's 1amp, if you insert anoth...er it shares that so it's then drops the rate to 0.5amp per bay, then if another battery is added it drops again. Soshine charge rate is per bay per battery which provides superior charging. this also mean if your charging a larger battery say 18650 it can be set to 1amp, while in the next bay you may have a 16340 which will prefer a slower charge of 500ma or 250ma to match it's capacity. general i li-ion battery have a charge rating of 0.5C which means the charge rate should be set at half it's capacity or less, example a 18350 1000mah will like a current rate of 500ma, a 14500 700mah will be better charged at .250ma. a battery will perform better, have a long life and more capacity if the correct charge rate is used.
