25.01.2022 They say practice what you preach. Well I say preach what you practice Mornings are about gaining energy and fire to conquer the day ahead (yang) whilst evenings is about unwinding and slowing down before bed (yin). This is exactly what you’ll find in my evening and morning yoga classes at Yoga 202. . Only 2 weeks left of my Thursday night restorative yin classes. And this week we are back with a firey flow on Saturday. . Yoga 202 (behind relish). Hope to see you there
24.01.2022 Join me tomorrow (Saturday Sept 28th) Yoga 202 for your morning flow Ease those footy final nerves and stretch out before the raceround craziness next week 10am @ 202 Hannan St (entry in back alleyway- parking available behind subway/Mac deli) $10pp 60min class See you tomorrow
23.01.2022 When your tummy rumbles, you know it’s time to eat. But unfortunately our souls/spirits/minds don’t always have such an obvious messenger system. . Living a healthy lifestyle isn’t just about the food you put on your plate. . One of the biggest takeaways from my Health Coaching training by @nutritionschool was the theory of primary & secondary foods. Primary being:... > loving relationships > regular physical activity > fulfilling vocation/career > a spiritual practice . You can eat all the green smoothies you want, but optimal health will always require fueling your primary foods too! . So tell me, how do you satisfy your hunger for life? #feedyoursoulsunday See more
22.01.2022 From active weekends to spending Monday all day in bed Ladies tell me, how do you manage your menstrual pain? The past 3 months have been bloody excruciating! Not only in my belly but legs too. Like cramping, restless legs, barely able to walk. Apparently dr google says it’s normal so for my gals who put up with this for years, I salute you! . What’s your home remedies to beat the pain? I just got me some CBD oil! . Also does anyone else experience this leg pain/cramps?... . About to watch @periodendofsentence - seems appropriate plus also a great way to stop feeling sorry for myself See more
20.01.2022 I’m still here I’ve had a few friends ask why I haven’t posted in a while #whoops and well I’d say it’s a combination of priorities and lack of routine. Because I move around and travel so much it’s difficult to have real consistency in my life. Sometimes I love this, not knowing where I’ll be, never getting bored and always onto the next adventure. But this nomadic lifestyle means routines and consistency are difficult. There’s pros and cons to every lifestyle (like today... working from home in my pjs all day). And whilst my priorities recently have been adjusting back into Aus living and working hard to save for my next big move, I’ll never be truly satisfied without this part of me... my spirituality, connecting and sharing my journey with you. Whilst routine and prioritising are major tools for achieving health and wellness goals, they are also reminders for me in my coaching business, yoga teaching and passion for all things Wellness. So I’m using these tools of routine and prioritising on this too and sharing this reminder with you #happymonday #queensbirthday #staytuned #stayreal See more
18.01.2022 If you don’t make time for your health, you will eventually make time for illness - . I’ve been playing the I’m too busy and tired card lately so my health hasn’t been a top priority. I’ve been down this road before, and the final destination.. it ain’t pretty. But I’ve recognised this early, so instead of continuing in this work > health situation, I made a change. This morning instead of choosing my laptop, I chose the treadmill. I decided 30 min of exercise was mo...re important than 30 min of work right in this very moment. . Not quite the same scenery as this pic, but I remember how I felt when it was taken. Outdoor trail hike with my love on a week long camping trip, completely stress free. Whilst our environment and circumstances change, our priorities don’t have to! Yes of course they alter, but if it’s work your worried about, being your healthiest self also means your most productive! So squeeze in some health friends, you (and your boss) will thank yourself later See more

13.01.2022 So many of us get lost in the process that we forget what we are fighting for or why we are working so hard. We lose touch. Pushing ourselves too far. We feel like we want to give up. Give up instead of looking up.... Looking forward at the end goal. Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Taking a moment to breath. Closing your eyes. Stepping back away from the madness. Appreciating how far you have come. Giving yourself a pat on the back. Adding in some self-care. Making time for yourself. Re-caping and re-couping. Then you will be ready. To jump back on the horse. And continue on hustling. Just one day at a time See more
12.01.2022 No 10am class today’s Yogis
11.01.2022 I love reminder myself and my students of this, especially during a Yin sequence. We’ve heard it before get out of your comfort zone but this also applies when we meditate or when we hold that posture a little longer than we want to (or think we should). It’s pushing past this point of feeling like ok yep next posture because it allows us to surrender and overcome the go go go mentality (myself included). Today’s classes focus on just that! As well as reminding ourselves of connection- with breath, self and others. See you today at 8am or 10am @ Yoga 202! . Please note: I am away next weekend but will be offering Thursday night classes for a 4 week block starting 11th October
