25.01.2022 After a massive off season rebuilding the car and a successful shakedown the team at Hayden Jericho Motorsports was looking really forward to the 2020 race season! Unfortunately due to the COVID 19 virus all motorsport has been suspended in Australia. Early this week I completed the build of a racing simulator to try and keep up my racing skills. After a few laps testing I ran in my first round of the SA Excel Eseries last night. ... This is very different to the real thing however something new and fun to learn and managed to bring it home in 8th in race one after keeping out of the carnage. Race two I drove back to 2nd from last after being turned around in turn one. Big thank you to Check It Out Graphics for wrapping my car online replicating the race car to show my sponsors as live stream will be available. A massive thanks you all my sponsors that have stayed onboard through this tough time and keen to get back to the real deal soon. 24.01.2022 Unfortunate way for us to to end the 2019 Excel season. This weekend at The Bend Motorsport Park while competing in the 2019 Excel Nationals we had an engine failure during Friday’s qualifying session therefore retiring us from the event, that’s Motorsport I guess ..... we will rebuild and see what 2020 brings to us. 23.01.2022 Reasonable day here at The Bend Motorsport Park. Qualified 7th among a close field. Race 1 finished 9th struggling with car setup however all tuned up to give it another crack tomorrow. Keep an eye out in Fox506 and Kayo for plenty of action with race 2 at 10:10am and race 3 at 1:25pm.... 10.01.2022 Well that wraps up the weekend of racing round 4 of the SA state titles at The Bend Motorsport Park. Had some awesome racing battles after a long period out of the seat. Managed to bring it home in 8th position out of 34 cars in the final heat. Qualified, 10th Race 1, 6th Race 2, 7th... 07.01.2022 After an awesome start to the weekend yesterday we started heat 3 in P4 but missed the start and finished P5. This qualified me with enough points to go directly into the final starting P7. With a few changes to the setup I had an fantastic handling car chasing down 4th towards the end of the race before unfortunately having a clutch let go forcing me to retire from the race. Promising performance leading into the rest of the season. 05.01.2022 First Circuit Excel Eseries race completed. With 70 plus entries I qualified 28th making the main race. Race one, I had a few good battles making a few spots before getting some damage to the car but still came home in 23rd. Race two was a bit cleaner racing before being hit again in the rear making me lose some places and came home 18th. A lot more to learn before next weekend at Barcelona....
