25.01.2022 Very excited to be announced as a finalist in the Local Business Awards, Outstanding New Business category. Thanks to all of those who voted and support J.r Bleakley Landscapes and those at Hills News, The Hills Shire Council and Precedent Productions for a great local initiative.

23.01.2022 Last week we beautified the entrance of a residence in Castle Hill. After a water main catastrophe the clients had constant problems with the pavers on their driveway. Jr Bleakley Landscapes, new header courses, a re-lay in a new pattern and a clean brought the driveway beyond its former glory.

23.01.2022 The brief of this job was to create 'street appeal' and create an entrance to the property that was worthy of the fine design inside. This was definitely fulfilled using new limestone paving, steps and stepping stones and raising levels so newly created gardens and turf are not affected by the existing shallow rooted trees. JR Bleakley landscapes created all landscape hard surfaces with some gardening consultation and the client undertook the planting and turfing themselves, doing a fantastic job in the process. Thanks for the hospitality, design input and coffee brewing Cassandra & Adam. I look forward to working with you on future projects.

14.01.2022 New spin on an old water feature. Old peeling paint and tiles replaced with Contemporary porcelain stack stone. Had some special helpers on this job also.

10.01.2022 Despite being on larger projects most of the time we do still undertake a lot of smaller jobs. Here’s a collection of just a few taken over the years. 1. Letterbox that’s just a bit different 2. Nth kellyville front stairs... 3. Baulkham hills sandstone driveway stairs See more

08.01.2022 Here is a few before and after shots of a job completed earlier this year in the Ponds in Sydneys North West. Despite the ridiculous heat the job was finished on schedule thanks to hard work and reliable contractors. This job involved tight access excavations, retaining walls front and back, extensive drainage, concrete, pebbles, stepping stones, turf and plants. All to meet The Ponds strict landscaping regulations.

08.01.2022 Rouse Hill, front yard makeover. Again, the brief was to make the front easier care so more time can be spent enjoying rather than working in the garden. Heavy stone mulch, level lawn areas, irrigation, garden edging and specifically selected plants all complement the custom stone walling. A great outcome for loverly clients.

07.01.2022 The design and construction brief for this hills district project was to transform a dark, damp and unused pool area and surrounds into a bright, functional space for an active family. Using lighter natural materials and installing extensive drainage created this. Thanks goes to Scott and the boys at Classic Backyards for the 'turf' installation. The area is now dry and maintenance friendly for the family to enjoy all year around.

06.01.2022 Another example of a garden transformation. Small amounts of landscape construction prepared the site for extensive drainage, soil, turf and horticulture works. Close consultation with the clients regarding plant selection was paramount in creating the right space and function in the gardens. A full irrigation system was installed to the turf and garden areas to ensure ease of care in the future. Despite poor weather the project was completed in good time and the sun arrived on the final day

06.01.2022 Baulkham Hills makeover. Using recycled bushrock to blend with existing walling the request of this landscaping was to make the front yard lower maintenance. This was achieved by full excavations, tiered walling, soil regeneration extensive low maintenance planting’s, full computer controlled irrigation system and Sir Walter turf. Happy clients and nice to install a stone product not utilised much these days.

06.01.2022 Please vote for J.R Bleakley Landscapes as best New Business in the Hills .. Hurry voting closes soon !

03.01.2022 As the year comes to a close we got to revisit a large job we finished in October. On top of the hill in Kellyville this job had the works. Excavations, pool, concrete, drainage, making good on existing walling, timber retaining, stone retaining, brick walls and letterbox, decking, paving, garden generation, steps, tiling and cladding, drainage, ‘Sir Walter’ turf, planting and covered front to back with computerised irrigation. Big shout out to all the concretors, fencers and contractors in particular Xzibit pools and Spas for a high quality pool delivered early. The job was made particularly easy due to having such great clients. Knowing clearly what they liked and wanted but just needing a hand to fill in the blanks and put it together.

01.01.2022 Australian classic with a contemporary edge. This hills project was undertaken in 3 significant stages transforming a un inspiring front yard into a neighbourhood talking point. Extensive excavations, walling, driveway and drainage were finished with carefully selected contemporary native planting, irrigation, winter green couch and a floating boardwalk.... Special thanks goes to a fantastic client for much needed input but also the freedom to let us create an individual and usable space. Also thanks to all contractors who assisted on this project. Excavations, plumbers, painters, electricians, Concretors and not least of all turf professionals. See more
