02.01.2022 These are unprecedented and unpredictable times. Everyone who works in the entertainment, events, arts, sports, large venue hospitality, tourism, travel, meetin...gs and events ... they're like farmers in several years of drought or businesses in a bushfire zone. The only difference is there are no pictures of the industries current hardship because all these events are now closed to live audiences. Think about hardworking people who might have lost a gig, a season of gigs, think about the people that work with them that might have lost a job, a livelihood, a business. The entertainment industry is worth billions to the Australian economy but right at this very moment it is like many other industries and in a really difficult position. We need to stay healthy, stay strong, we need to support each other and we need to stick together until we pass through these difficult times.
