It's tricky to judge when a mate is dealing with depression or anxiety. It's easy for him or her to tell you everything is ok, when they are over thinking something negative that doesn't matter that puts them into such a dark space.... The best we can do is let them know we are here for them. What can go wrong? Pressure is on to support families, things seem to be going wrong, lack of communication, relationship problems, chasing payment, sleepless nights, stressed at work, desperate need for a break, tax, constant feeling of never being enough, depression after loosing touch with family/friends, balance.. 10.01.2022 How many of you are using the toilet cubicle for a phone booth? Raise your hands ..... It takes a while to realise someone is indeed on the phone to you while on the throne. It ususally dawns on you slowly because for most,... the idea is beyond comprehension. It always takes a minute to twig. At first you dismiss the idea then you hear another odd echo chamber effect, followed by strange timed pauses with many "hnnnnnnnnn"s inbetween. Confirmation comes at the sound of the cascading waterfall or even a dreaded splash into the bowl. Unbelievable as it may seem many people take calls from the dunny i know this as i hear the person in the next cubicle actually answering their phone. Don't hangout in the toilet a phonecall can wait.
