25.01.2022 Im going to try something new next year and will hopefully help some people out in doing so. One thing I have learnt in 27 years of floorcovering is that not many floorcovering sales people are floorcoverers themselves. When it comes to the technical or trickier jobs they use big words such as 3mm over 3 ramp variation and latex priming substrate. In reality, these guys dont even know what this means because a year ago they were selling sliding glass doors. But it sounds im...pressive. I would like to offer myself as a pre-salesperson consultant. I will come to inspect your job, talk about the product you are after and its suitability for the area and what you wish to achieve in the end. I will give you a knowledge of what is required for you to reach that outcome and arm you with everything you need when talking to any sales people you have quoting on your job. In alot of cases, you will be better informed then they are. This service will cost just $55.00 for local residential jobs and if you buy the product from your chosen supplier and would like me to prep and install your product I will deduct the full $55.00 from your bill. 18.01.2022 If you need an electrician, you find and call an electrician, or a plumber, mechanic, painter. You may choose one you have heard good feedback about or has been... recommended to you. Why do you trust your floorcoverings to a shop? In 25 years I have never been asked to show any credentials to a retail outlet. You could be letting anyone into your house. You dont no there experience and the may be in town for a couple of days then move on. Dont let the retailers tell you who is laying your new floor that you are paying thousands of dollars for. 18.01.2022 Just completed the new floor at the best bike shop in Hervey Bay, Thompsons Cycleworld. With the 2016 road season starting it is the best time to drop I am and see Warren, Sarah and Toby for a service or a whole new bike...... And to see the new floor of course.
