10.01.2022 JRM Stonework have decided to shutdown all onsite operations effective immediately. Following ateam meeting yesterday and in light of current health recommendations, we need to ensure the health of several vulnerable immediate family members of our team and also to reduce the possibility for virus transmission to clients and others. This unprecedented situation will have a significant impact on current and scheduled work. We will be in contact with any clients over the coming... days to discuss this and make plans going forward. We will still be taking calls and emails over this period and can still offer advice and job estimates via photos and videos. We will not be visiting any sites or homes during the shutdown. 09.01.2022 After careful consideration and much deliberation, JRM Stonework will be resuming work as of Monday 6th of April. We live in a time of uncertainty and we are all having to make decisions that we feel are best for our health, family and employees. The construction industry has not been asked to close and it is also not an industry able to work from home. Considering so many people are losing jobs through no fault of their own, we are fortunate enough to still be able to work and to have work available to us in an open and spacious environment. 07.01.2022 The #careygullysandstone we used in this dry stone (soon to be) retaining wall will really pop when the clients have backfilled and installed the turf. Note the width of the wall. A proper dry stone retaining wall requires mass and through stones, both of which are often missing on many walls we see.
