25.01.2022 Dear Members With some new developments happening over the weekend regarding covid19 containment I'm still a bit confused on where the gym stands as there have been some conflicting information. But hopefully this will be clarified tomorrow and I will keep you updated here as I work this all out. Make sure you get into the gym tomorrow before 12pm and get your gym fix and workout in just incase.... I will also look into freezing memberships and direct debits once I know more and I will update you all here on the FB page. Thanks a lot legends and I'll keep you all posted

25.01.2022 A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE MEMBERS! Everyone has been amazing at keeping the gym clean and safe as we fight the ongoing issue that is Covid-19. It's so good to see everyone taking the provided cleaning products and wipes and cleaning every machine that the use as they go. The gym is spotless!! PS. 22.01.2022 Hey Guys just a quick one to let ya know I'll be restating all the gym direct debit memberships on Monday Nov 2nd as I thought I'd give it a few days to make sure everything was running smoothly before activating them again. And if you have a upfront membership I've gone ahead and added 12 weeks to them. If you have a direct debit membership but want it to remain on hold just send me a direct message and I'll look after that for you. PS. SO BLOODY GOOD TO SEE EVERYONE BACK ...IN THE GYM!! Thanks. 20.01.2022 GYM OPENS MONDAY MORNING.... WHO'S PUMPED?? I've been busy giving the gym a makeover during shut down and am excited to open up again 6am sharp on Monday 22nd for everyone to finally get their workout on Few things to remember with the current Covid restrictions. - Max 20 people in the gym at once and keeping 1.5m apart. There is over 700sq metres of gym floor space so it shouldn't be an issue. ... - No Towel, No Train! You must bring your own gym towel or you will have to go back home and grab it. - I've scattered plenty of disinfectant, wipes and hand sanitizer around the gym so please wash your hands and wipe down equipment after use. - You MUST scan you membership card on entry, this will help keep track of all members using the gym. - Be courteous to all people training and wanting to use the gym. If you train during peak hours try and keep your workouts short and sharp to give everyone a chance. Memberships will restart on Monday. Any questions just ask. JROD

17.01.2022 Good Morning Legends! Unfortunately, it looks like COVID-19 will be shutting down the gym from 12 PM today. J-Rod Fitness will be shut down indefinitely and any updates will be posted on this Facebook page. First of all there's no need to come into the gym or call to put your memberships on hold as I will be freezing all gym memberships and direct debits as soon as I can and I'm working on this now.... This is definitely a tough post to type out for me as J-Rod Fitness is something I've been building for the last 7 years and I love coming to work every day. I love all the members and I feel we have created an awesome little family here at J-Rod Fitness. I hope this shutdown won't be for too long and I'm hopeful I can return after all this has all blown over, continue building my small business back up and help everyone achieve a fit and healthy life. So good to see everyone walking through the doors at 6am this morning keen to get back into it - Remember to bring your towel (no towel no train) I do have towels you can rent if you forget.... - Wear your face mask in the gym and the only time you should take it off is if your heart rate is absolutely pumping. - If it's busy please get in and out as quickly as you can to give others a chance to train as well. - Same deal as last time please use the disinfectant spray and wipes provided to while down every single surface you touch. Make sure from Monday morning you grab your gym towel and face mask, Use sanitizer as you walk through the door, wash your hand, continue to wipe down machines with disinfectant and keep your distance while training. 09.01.2022 GYM WILL OPEN 6AM WEDNESDAY!! Great news that we are opening again but at this stage it's looking like only 10 people at a time in the gym so that's a little rough but hey it's a start. We will keep 1st come best dressed and I'll ask everyone a huge favour and keep workouts short and sharp so try and get in and out in 1h if you can. Will know more info as it all plays out so will keep you updated here. If you train at a during a peak period say around 4pm-6pm please be aware... that you may have to wait or come back later but we will see how that plays out and if you can train at a different time of day please do so. Anyone who has equipped hired out if you can send me a message or give me a call and organise a drop off time between now and Tuesday night that would be great. 03.01.2022 Looking forward to sharing the gym makeover with everyone on Monday! And here's a few pics and a few things I've done to the gym over lockdown. New Astro Turf! We now have 80sq Metres of turf to train on. More gym mats. Drink bottle tap and wash station next to the locker area. Kids Area (will be available as soon as restrictions are eased)... New wall ball wall Lots of fresh paint and new plastered walls. COMING SOON... Fully concreted carpark! At this stage it's about a week or two away from completion so PARK YA CAR ALONG Dowling Street for now. Unless ya car has a winch and ya love ya Nike's covered in thick mud it's a bit of a mud bowl at the moment but I can't wait to get rid of the puddles and mud in winter. Flex is pretty keen to see everyone as well! JROD

01.01.2022 Hey Legends! As you most likely would already know VIC Gyms will have to close from Wednesday night. So we will be open usual gym hours and closing the doors on Wednesday 5th at 8pm for hopefully no more than the 6 weeks that are currently in place. All Memberships will be placed on hold again so you don't need to worry about that.... Face masks need to be worn at all times in the gym as of today and only pulled down from your face while doing high-intensity exercise, breathing heavily or puffing. Thanks Jrod
