25.01.2022 The brake pads on this vehicle have dangerously worn right down and are metal on metal! As a result of missing their regular service, our technician Will now has to fit a set of new brake rotors as well as pads. Ouch! Is your car due for a service? Don’t let this happen to you.... 23.01.2022 COVID Restrictions update: With the boundary now raised to 25km, most of JRS Motor's customers can now travel to and from the workshop. Also, unlike earlier in the restrictions, there are no limitations to the work we can do. All repairs, maintenance and roadworthy work is allowed. Many of you may not have driven much this year, but don't forget that most maintenance schedules are time and distance based (eg. 10,000km or 6 months). Please call 97296057 to make a booking and ensure your vehicle remains in safe condition. Thank you and keep up the good work Victorians!

22.01.2022 Welcome to 2019 everyone, we look forward to maintaining your vehicles for another year.

18.01.2022 STAGE 4 Restrictions update: We can help you with emergency repairs, breakdowns and anything safety related. We cannot perform regular maintenance or anything that can reasonably be delayed until the easing of restrictions. The 5km radius also applies, but the vehicle can be towed if need necessitates. The workshop will not necessarily be open during all of our usual trading hours, but I will answer your phone calls. Please call if you have need or for any clarification. Stay safe.

16.01.2022 YES! We do service new cars! It is a common misconception that your new car needs to be serviced at the dealer while under a new car warranty. Servicing your car with a reputable mechanic with quality parts ensures your warranty isn't compromised. JRS Motors has been a VACC member since 1975 and we will look after your pride and joy, new or old.

11.01.2022 Are your headlight lenses deteriorating? They can be restored. Most modern cars have plastic headlight lenses which gradually become opaque. Sandblasting and UV damage not only impact how they look aesthetically, but also how effective your headlights are at night. A poor lens will mean a dull and diffuse headlight. Make your night driving safer and ask for a headlight restoration with your next service at JRS Motors. Please call 97296057.

08.01.2022 After a long convalescence (while waiting for parts to arrive from America), this 1941 Cadillac is running again and has left the workshop. It was an eye catching vehicle to have here, but there is a lot more room with it gone. Cue the 'Born Free' soundtrack.

06.01.2022 With over 40 years providing Bayswater and the surrounding area with quality automotive repairs, you can be confident that your car is in expert hands at JRS Motors.

03.01.2022 YES, we are open. The automotive industry can remain functioning. YES, you can still get your vehicle serviced, repaired, roadworthy inspected etc. YES, we practice safe distancing and sanitise your vehicle where appropriate at the end of it's visit. The office of the Minister of Police, the Hon. Lisa Neville MP has the following advice to the VACC (Vic. Automobile Chamber of Commerce):... "Police officers are not meant to be stopping people from travelling for work or restricting trade of businesses that can and should remain open as long as they are maintaining density quotients and physical distancing. (The) VACC is correct in that the automotive trade is not being prohibited from work or opening, so staff can work, and customers engage as appropriate and consistent with the CHO requirements around density quotients and physical distancing." Thank you everyone and stay safe.

03.01.2022 The VACC is celebrating their 100th anniversary and they chose JRS Motors to feature in the first video of their 100th anniversary series. Look out for Mark's cheesy joke at the end.
