02.01.2022 JSA Cabinetry wants to use #rescueday2020 to show our gratitude for the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter. Today as a business and also a family, we donate $1000 to this amazing service! Earlier this year, we faced one of the hardest moments that our little family has had to deal with. Our youngest had to undergo surgery for appendicitis. This was something that was already hard enough to deal with, as he was only 4. Surgery was only meant to last 40 minutes, but after an ...hour we started to feel like something was not quite right! The surgeon came in and told us that our little man had an anaphylactic reaction and was on IV adrenaline to keep him stable. Our world felt like it was crashing in! He needed to be in paediatric intensive care and he needed to get there quick! The flight team that helped our family that night were second to none. They faced a storm that was coming down the coast to get us to the Gold Coast Hospital safely, and get our little boy to the special care he needed. They kept us calm and reassured us the whole time! We would hate to think what might have happened if we didn’t have this amazing service to help us that night! And this donation is our way of saying Thank You! We are doing our small part for this incredible charity and encourage you to donate as well, even if it’s as little as $5.00. Every dollar counts!!
