We think it is best to plan for needing one, then if you don't great, but best to give yourself this extra time just in case. If you can fit an extra cupboard, put it in! People are making sure any opportunity for additional storage is taken up. This includes using island benches, narrow cupboards or shelving and high storage. Pops of colour. Palettes are staying mostly neutral, and people are ...using other features to introduce colours. These can include a feature light, coloured splashback or decorative items. Light and bright. Finding ways to bring additional natural light in is very popular at the moment. This can be done by opening up walls and lining your kitchen bench with windows or installing skylights. Pendant lighting is also a really popular way to brighten up your kitchen and look great over the island bench. Choosing different finishes. It used to be all about chrome finishes, but there are so many options out there now that can really make your kitchen stand out. Some of our favourites are brushed brass and matte black.
