Luckily tenants were home when happened and were able to turn the water off quickly. Replaced hoses with a pex type Flexi hose which are stronger & more robust than the standard rubber Flexi hose. Although the manufacturers will blame Perths water quality I suspect is due to the quality/purity of the metal casting. We repositioned the sewer line to along the boundary fence to make way for new lot.
