Yesterday the class of 30 were all sitting open-mouthed in wonder as she spoke about her years dancing in Egypt, when every night after performing her own show she would then go to see Fifi Abdo or Souheir Zaki or Mona Said or Aida Nour dance... 14.01.2022 Firstly, thank you all so much for your understanding as we waited for news from the US. Your support during this time helped keep us positive during a difficult (and stressful!) couple of days. Your messages of love and healing have been conveyed to Sahra and were gratefully received. The good news is that Sahra's doctors have cleared her to fly and she will arrive in time to teach JtE1b and JtE 2 as planned (provided there are no more medical emergencies!). Participants wh...o were booked into this weekend's course have been contacted with their options - one of which includes rescheduling for the weekend of 13-14-15 October (if this goes ahead, further applications to attend will be welcome)! The concert, Maghreb to Mashriq: A Dance Mosaic, will go ahead as planned next Friday. The Egyptian Dance Workshop with Sahra Saeeda will also still run on the 4th October (with assistance from Johara and Rachel). Once again, thankyou to everyone for your support and understanding. We look forward to seeing you next week!

08.01.2022 We have had 1 spot open up in JtE level2! This course filled up quickly so if you are interested let us know ASAP.... First in gets it! Please note that you will need to have completed Level 1 prior to attending level 2. So if you are doing the 1b course this weekend the timing is perfect to enrol in level 2!

07.01.2022 Hathor Dance Ensemble have become well known recently for their superb Classical Persian dancing. We are thrilled that they will be debuting a new choreography and new costumes at our upcoming show, Maghreb to Mashriq!

05.01.2022 With deep regret we are advising that this weekend’s course, Journey Through Egypt Level 1 (23 - 25 Sept.) is CANCELLED due to a sudden health emergency with Sahra, our guest teacher. We are deeply sorry for the massive inconvenience. Because of the unique nature of this course, it's not the kind of thing that anybody else could just step in and teach. At this point we do not know when or whether Sahra will be able to travel. Once we do, we will figure out any next steps or p...ossible options regarding the courses and workshop. We remain hopeful that the remaining courses on subsequent dates will be able to run as planned. It is all dependent on medical advice that Sahra will receive soon, and everyone involved will be updated as soon as a final call is made. Meanwhile, please send your best wishes and healing thoughts to Sahra. May she recover quickly. Thanks to everyone for your support and understanding in these difficult circumstances. - - - - -
