25.01.2022 Weekend recap It was an up and down weekend Friday practice we were setting great times car felt good. Q1 on race day I couldn’t get a good lap together due to the volume of cars on track 42. Qualified 13th 2 seconds slower then fridays time. Race 1 my wheel fell off so I had a DNF . Race 2 started from P40. Lap 1 I managed get to P23. Finish in P9. Race 3 finished in P5. The night race spiced things up a bit. I had a great start and Nash Morris and I had a fantastic battl...e until a turn 3 accident brought the field into the pits. Restart we were battling for the lead when I was turned in turn 3. Recovered to finish 5th. The weekend was up and down but things happen for reason. Had a great time and thank you to all the words of encouragement on my race 2 for all. Thanks to all the officials and sponsors that make it all happen. 25.01.2022 Had a strong weekend considering we were dialling new suspension and I have never run the tyre package before. Borrowed engine from excelcup.com.au was also in use. Heavy rain on Saturday spiced things up. I missed a podium finish by a handful of points. I did enjoy my first event in the Series X3 Club Queensland inc. looking forward to the the meeting in Warwick at the end of next month. 21.01.2022 Weekend recap I had a good start to the weekend qualified 2nd (best start I have had) and also posted a pb time in race 4. Had some great close racing all weekend. Car was set up great but we can find some more. We knew that my engine was down on power after a dyno tune show we started at 76hp. But I pushed on and finished second outright. 11.01.2022 I had a great weekend. First time at Morgan Park raceway and first time in a R35 GTR Skyline. My goal for the weekend was to finish in the top 10 in the Excel. I achieved this. Thank you to Scott Scott Edward Green for coming to help coach in the transition of driving both classes. In the GTR I wanted to do a lap time of 1.21.5(which I was told is the fastest the car has been around this track). I managed to achieve a lap time of 1.20. 06.01.2022 What a strange year it has been. Happy to have finished 2nd for the season. Few misfortunes (2x dns therefore rear of the grid for the next race) made for an exciting end. There was suppose the be another round where I would have taken the series due some penalties from the last round. But it was not to be. Next year is shaping up to be great. Don’t forget to come and watch the amrs round next weekend at Queensland Raceway. Thank you to my sponsors that have helped get me... to the track for each round. 06.01.2022 Bit of fun tonight, was different wanting to make the car go sideways and not straight but picked it up quick. Obviously no pro but wasn’t too bad.
05.01.2022 # Race weekend recap Practice Friday car was strong (apart from 3rd gear being a bit iffy) Qualifying Saturday morning was good 3rd was starting to become a problem. Qualified 5 out of 42 cars. Race 1 had some great scraps to finish in 4th with a blown driveshaft thanks to Frank Mammarella for supplying a new one. Race 2 started out if p4. Made some spots up until a crash back in the field brought a red flag and restart. On the restart the gearbox said no more and I complet...ely lost 3rd gear. Dropping to p16. Missed race3 by a matter of minutes. Thanks to the Matt Belinda Wooller for offer me to use the gearbox out of Maddison car after the accident in race 2. But Warren king had a spare box so we went to work with the help of Dan and Jamie Race4 started for dead last and some. Worked my way to p9. Finishing 11th for the round. Solid effort from all those that rendered assistance on the weekend you are what makes racing great to be a part of.
