17.01.2022 Meet QASP JWCoCA Arts Ignite recipient, Zane Saunders. Zane begins his one month creative development residency at the Judith Wright Centre this week. Multi- disciplinary artist and performer Zane Saunders who is of Aboriginal descent, lives in Northern Queensland Australia. His ancestry is with the (Butchulla) and (Goongari) Peoples of Southern Queensland. In the performance arena, Zane drives a very singular performance and installation agenda. 01.01.2022 Arts Queensland is inviting Expressions of Interest from small to medium arts organisations to activate and manage the gallery within the newly refurbished Judith Wright Arts Centre (JWAC) for an initial 12 month period. This well-appointed and prominent gallery space, was created within the Centre, as part of recent works that included the refurbishment of JWAC’s frontage and foyers, and the creation of new tenancy spaces at the front of the building.
