25.01.2022 Week commencing 4th March I will still be working from mums granny flat for the whole week. The Kolan Street entrance to Northside Plaza isn't complete due to ongoing rain periods. There is a gravel entrance via Gavin Street up over the gutter. Good to see that Grandma's Kitchen is now operating, and maybe even Hair Synergy mid week.... I will wait until the following week before bringing additional traffic to the area. The idea of heavy roadworks happening outside (if it isn't raining) while I massage does not appeal to me. This weekend I am taking over bits and pieces, and doing some finishing touches. I am still undecided about office desks, and cupboards, they will take some weeks to arrive so the old desks have gone back in.

23.01.2022 Business is busy, and customers are appreciating that Kolan Street access to the shopping centre is now open. Thank heavens the heavy roadworks has stopped. Just awaiting the final surface whenever that will be. Over Easter I hung artwork helping to give a relaxing atmosphere to the shop. Feedback has been terrific.

15.01.2022 I am heading off to a USA adventure for most of October, 2017. Restart work on the 26th October. Currently booked out for 3 weeks after this time. I am heading for some retreat time and time in nature. Rather looking forward to not walking around in circles all day around my massage table.

13.01.2022 I haven't updated this page for some time. Business is very busy, and unfortunately my books are closed as I have very few openings available to take on new clients. Generally I will take referrals from my existing clients but understand that it might be weeks before an appointment is available. Sorry about that.

13.01.2022 Permission now given in QLD for Qualified Massage therapists to work with their clients to treat, prevent or manage their health conditions. I am back at work. I'll be contacting my regulars and letting you know. I am happy to be able to provide massage therapy as I know many have been hanging out for their treatments.

12.01.2022 I have relocated my business a short 10 min drive along Moore Park Road at 927. This used to be the much loved home of the Townsend family- a past councillor. After 2 years of renovations by the current owners it is now a beautiful home with downstairs rumpus (now massage) room, all with its own shower and toilet. I have relocated my sauna to this space as well. Enjoy the short country drive to clear out the stress, and check out the new abode. Please note new landline number is 07 41598698. The lovely people at Telstra have advised me I am unable to take my old number with me.

11.01.2022 Office will be closed from 26/01 until 16/02/2018. I am heading back to LA for a workshop, and then on to Hawaii - I am going to Ho'omana Spa, at Makawao on Maui to learn traditional Hawaiian Lomi Lomi and Hot Stone massage. So looking forward to this. I won't be contactable during this time.

06.01.2022 Still working at mums granny flat and waiting to see what progress is being made on Kolan St access to the shop. If there is no access by Monday I will continue to see customers from 33 Churchill St. Heavy machinery noises and poor access are not circumstances I want to bring my clients into if I can offer sometime better. Will post on Sunday again- as hopefully we will get some fine weather and the road works can be completed.

05.01.2022 PM's announced massage parlours cease operation as of midnight tonight. I am complying with this request as I understand many of my clients are vulnerable to COVID-19 or have loved ones you would be. I have been applying strict hygiene protocols up to this point. I will repost when things change. In the meantime I will be exploring a life that doesn't revolve around a massage table. Thank you to my clients and wishing you practice strict hygiene, and look for the rainbow.

04.01.2022 Shop had 70 cm of water go thru it. The mud wasn't as bad as next door, probably thanks to the old butcher grates in the floor which probably helped drain much of it out. Landlord Andrew Sbrizzi has been fantastic with doing what he can to support the clean up process. I am heading over to do the final clean and sanitising of the floors early tomorrow morning. The walls are clean. The panelling will need to be painted as it has incurred some water damage from the clean up ...process. The solid old sink in the kitchen has withstood the flood but quite of bit of our furniture has been lost. Thursday Andrew hopes to start the repainting process- the tiles along the hallway had to come down (they were falling off) so that area requires removing the adhesive and filling to be painted. Maybe might even get the carpets done early next week. Holding my breath about weather the airconditioning units on ground level can be rescued. Can you believe you can't the floor unit in themselves, and of course these models aren't produced any more! All in all I am so grateful to receive the support from clients, community and friends and my mum to help me thru this process. There are many of my clients who have been affected directly or indirectly and helping affected friends and family, or volunteering. My thoughts and love go out to you all.

03.01.2022 Looks like the shop is pretty flooded. To see pics log into Hair Synergy's facebook page where there are two pics of flood water levels during the past few days. Goodness knows how long it will be before I can get the shop operational. I am currently working temporarily from 33 Churchill Street, from my mums granny flat. Nicely set up for now with privacy, toilet and shower facilities. Once I can get over to the shop for the clean up my attention will be there for whatever time and will suspend massages until I can a handle of what needs to be done and timeframes. There are alot of people much worse off. My house is high and dry. I can be reached on my mobile 0427628861.
