25.01.2022 Last week's wedding was at the ROYAL BOTANIC GARDENS overlooking the Opera House. When we arrived there was a homeless person asleep on a park bench right next to where the wedding was to take place. We made a bit of noise as we were setting up the equipment and the person woke up .It was a woman! It made me feel so sad. Here were two complete opposite examples of life in Sydney. On one hand, the joyous celebration of a wedding in one of Sydney's famous landmarks and on the hand a poor woman packing up here worldly possessions and moving on to another park bench. I apologised for the inconvenience and she smiled and was very gracious.

06.01.2022 I discovered a hidden gem this week. Lisgar Gardens, a beautiful lush, green oasis tucked away in Lisgar Street, Hornsby.I conducted a Commitment Ceremony there and we virtually had the Gardens to ourselves. It's only minutes from the busy CBD of Hornsby and yet is so peaceful, with waterfalls and much birdlife. It has become a very popular Wedding venue. When you arrive at the main gates you will need to walk down quite a number of steps to get to the grassed area, although there is an inclinator for the disabled and also to transport catering equipment to the Pavilion where receptions are often held. Do yourselves a favour and make a visit to Lisgar Gardens.

06.01.2022 This lovely Wedding was held at Kooindah Waters Golf Resort near Wyong. The ceremony was conducted on the 18th hole followed by the reception in the Club House.

02.01.2022 Banjo Paterson Cottage was chosen for the wedding of a couple from Brisbane who wanted to get married near Sydney's beautiful waterways.
