24.01.2022 A bit of a mixed bag, names of plants are in captions on photos. All $12 each Pick up Norwood. ... Anthurium and Peace Lilys still available. Peperomia and Calathea sold. I do have a few more Calathea though this one was probably the best of the lot. If anyone would like a photo of the others please send me a message. I also have a couple more of the Peace Lilys, they are all about the same size.

23.01.2022 I missed the first day of Spring, so happy 2nd day of Spring. I don't think I've shared this pic before. This is from a few weeks ago and is a very short version of a wrap. I'm quite meticulous when it comes to my Kokedama wrapping. I use premium quality materials and spend a lot of time on each Kokedama making sure it's just right before I move on to the next. I don't get many made in a day, probably 4 or 5 at most, but for me it's not about the volume that moves out t...he door but the quality. I've been making Kokedamas for 3 years now and still take pride in my work, putting a lot of love in to each and every one I make. Indoor plants are still scarce at the moment so things are still a bit quiet here for me, but as the weather warms up over the next few weeks more will become available. I also have a few other exciting things I've been organising and working on that I can't wait to share with you all.

23.01.2022 Ctenanthe Amagris, night versus day. A part of the prayer plant family, these little guys fold their leaves upwards of a night showing off the lovely purple colour underneath their leaves, then flatten back down again through the day. They like bright filtered or indirect light, don't keep them in full direct sun or their pattern and colour will fade.... This one was my lucky last ctenanthe of the moment, it was a customer order that went out over the weekend as a gift.

23.01.2022 Teachers/Secret Santa Gift Kokedamas are available again this year at a super special price of $25 each. This includes a glass coaster and your choice of a little wooden plant stake.

22.01.2022 All Sensations now sold, thanks everyone For sale, Spathiphyllum Sensation. Although these Peace Lilies are small at the moment, Sensation is the largest of the spathiphyllum.... I have 4 only in 130mm pots. $14 each Pick up Norwood

22.01.2022 The roses in my garden are the biggest and best they've been in years and of course just as they are looking amazing we get a really blustery day that is blowing them to pieces. I thought I best pick a few to enjoy indoors before there's nothing left on the bushes.

21.01.2022 Hello everyone. While I'm still waiting on the availability of indoor plants from our local growers, I'm having a bit of a Spring Clean. Over the next few days I'll be advertising a couple of plants from my personal collection as well as a few of my stock plants that weren't suitable for Kokedamas mostly due to them being too small. First up from my personal plant collection is my Hoya Australis.... I'm selling this lovely because I'm wanting to make room on my plant shelf. It has new growth with lovely new leaves coming on since the beginning of spring. I'm asking $30. Pick up is from Norwood or I can deliver on Friday morning if you live in Launceston. See more

21.01.2022 Some Juicy Kokedamas were dropped in to Embellish this morning. You'll find these few amongst them.

19.01.2022 Piper crocatum I still have a few of these weirdos. Why weirdos? Well I personally have found them to be a little temperamental, they don't like it too wet or too dry, make sure they don't get a chill. Keep them out of direct sunlight and don't feed them after midnight, no hold on, wrong species. They are quick to tell you if they are unhappy and will drop a leaf or two and I think they would probably do better to climb rather than trail.... I have three left, I wouldn't recommend them to a beginner planty but if you have a bit of experience and would like to give one of these a go now is your chance as I'm selling my last three at 50% off. That's right half price at $21 each.

18.01.2022 Over the last couple of weeks, amongst selling a few pots and plants and sneaking out for lunch with my hubby while he's been on holiday's, I've had the pleasure and privilege of making kokedamas for birthday gifts, engagements, a wedding, a house warming and condolences and some customers ordered one or two kokedamas for themselves, because why not. Here is a small selection of some of the bigger kokes that have gone out. I'll be giving my hands a rest over the weekend after holding these big guys up, then back into more kokedama orders on Monday. Once again a big thank you to you all for your wonderful support.

16.01.2022 Things are still a little quiet on the Kokedama front here at the moment while I wait for our local wholesalers to release some more beautiful indoor plants. As soon as more plants become available I'll be straight back into all things Kokedama. But I still have many other things going on behind the scenes to keep me busy which I'll be sharing with you over the coming months. Today however, I've been busy in my potting shed. Repotting some of my own plants as well as upsiz...ing a few lovelies I'll be wrapping later in the year once they're big and strong enough. In the middle of this photo is one of my Calatheas. I have just separated 2 small pieces from the main plant so I can keep the main plant in it's current pot, I really like this pot. *Edit Both Calathea Zebrinas now sold If anyone is interested in the 2 smaller ones potted in the front they are $5 each. Both have well established roots, freshly potted today in my own premium mix with slow release fertiliser. The one on the left has 4 leaves, the newest is still coming through from the centre. On the right has two leaves with a third just starting to emerge from the centre. Available for collection from Norwood.

15.01.2022 Philodendron cordatum aka Heart Leaf Philodendron 130mm pots $12 each.... As mentioned in my previous post these are small but are showing new growth. Pick up from Norwood.

15.01.2022 Teachers Gift Small Kokedamas will be available again this year. Succulents will vary and there is a choice of 2 lovely little signs. All Juicy Kokedamas come with a glass coaster for your gift to sit upon.

14.01.2022 Philodendron Imperial Red This one came in as stock earlier in the year but I kept hold of it due to a damaged leaf. It has grown 2 new leaves since I've had it and a 3rd is on its way. It's been upsized to a larger pot just last week. I'm selling it on simply because I just don't have the room to hold onto it.... Due to the damage on this one I'm asking $14, (all the others sold at $18 earlier on in the year). Once a couple more leaves grow you could remove the bottom damaged leaf and not even miss it. Pick up Norwood.

13.01.2022 For sale, Elkhorn Ferns $18 each, 140mm nursery pots. 3 only. All three are quite a good size and are currently growing new shield fronds. I can wrap into a Kokedama if requested. Kokedama price would be $55.

11.01.2022 I'm not done yet. Pot Sale Yes I'm going potty. ... 20% off the marked prices of all pots advertised a few weeks ago. I still have at least one if not more of every pot advertised.

11.01.2022 This one is now gone. I popped this on my personal page earlier I thought I'd offer it here too. It had originally been severely underwatered, after some love and care it's now growing beautifully and has lovely new growth. It's free, the wrapping is old so I will remove it and pop it in a nursery pot. ... Pick up from Norwood. I'll pop these 3 photos in comments for those who would like a closer look. See more

10.01.2022 Wishing everyone a Happy Easter. So how many Easter Eggs did everyone eat yesterday? Or are you like me and been eating them since Friday.

09.01.2022 I don't know what my neighbours must think of me as I carry plants all around my backyard trying to get good lighting for a photo. This big guy is all done, it's being purchased as a special surprise gift. I hope the recipient loves it as much as I do.

05.01.2022 Philodendron birkin 2 only 130mm pot $19 each Collect from Norwood

05.01.2022 2020 has certainly been a very different year so far. I wandered around my garden wondering what succulents will survive last nights snow, I know this spiral aloe should be fine. Where these plants naturally grow they are high up in mountains in a cool climate where it snows in winter. As I thought about what plants I will probably have to replace I started to think of our wonderful growers of plants and produce and hope they haven't received too much damage, structural or o...therwise. My boys however enjoyed the snow this morning, building snowmen until their hands were frozen and numb. After spending the morning with my kids enjoying the snow, I'm now defrosting and waiting for the feeling to return to my frozen toes, then it's straight back into wrapping orders. If anyone has some snow photos they'd like to share in the comments, please do.

04.01.2022 On the potting bench this morning. These two potted beauties went to their new home this morning. Did you know when purchasing pots or plants from me I offer to pot your plants up free of charge? I've even had customers bring their pots in when purchasing a plant, nothing is a hassle. ... I use only premium quality potting mixes for all my potted plants and Kokedamas and I mix different recipes of soils/substrates depending on the type of plant and their needs.

03.01.2022 This variegated Chain of Hearts Kokedama went out last weekend. One of my most favourite things about making Kokedamas, is that people purchase them as gifts for their loved ones, be it family or friends. Gives me all those warm wonderful feels.

02.01.2022 Highlighting one of the pots I have on special at the moment. The Zari Planter in mustard or terracotta colour. This lovely planter standing on three legs is 18cm, a good size for the slightly larger plant. It has a drainage hole if you like to pot directly into your planters, or comes with a little plug if you would prefer to use it as a cover pot.... I have 3 of each colour currently in stock. Usually $34.95 at 20% off it's reduced to $27.95. (Plant in photo not for sale)

02.01.2022 I'll be here on the 1st of May, my first market since 2019. With sphagnum moss in such short supply for over 6 months now I haven't been able to commit to any markets but I have been able to get a small amount which means I will be having a Kokedama stall here, just in time for Mothers Day. I'm super excited, I've missed doing markets so much. I love meeting people and talking plants. I'll have potted plants and succulents available as well. ... Hope to see you there. See more

02.01.2022 While it seems spring has gone into hiding, I am still spring cleaning, but got a little distracted by my hoyas. Sorry this one is not for sale. Who else is a big hoya fan? Hoyas and Calatheas are at the top of my favourites list, but then my favourites list does tend to change. Oh who am I kidding, if it's a plant it's most likely on my favourites list. ... I do have a few other plants here for sale I bought for Kokedamas but they were way too small when they arrived. I have been taking care of them over the last 2 or 3 months but during winter they of course didn't really grow much. They have started showing a bit of growth over the last couple of weeks but are still way too small for me to wrap. I'm about to take photos and will pop them up throughout the afternoon. It really is only a few and they are small.
