20.01.2022 Thank you everyone for attending yesterdays general meeting held at the offices of Perth NRM. We were presented with some extraordinary findings from our continued association with Curtins Marketing Departments Luxury Branding Cluster. We were all so amazed at the findings and work that had been put into the research and even more amazed that we are able to continue with further funding into a second year. Thank you Curtin so much for your support, the association will be taking on board all the discoveries so far and those yet to be researched.

19.01.2022 Thanks everyone who attended the meeting on Saturday, there were lots to discuss as we move into picking up further research on our fruit through Curtin University Horticulture Department headed up by Prof. Zora Singh. New members from Queensland flew over for the meeting, giving us here in the west the perspective of growing on their property in Coran Queensland. Much is happening in our industry, keep an eye on this page for updates as we head int 2019, while SA members gear up to travel to China with a view of developing their market to assist a new and exciting product produced by the Jujube fruit.

19.01.2022 Join us today at the Gidgegannup Farm &Field Day, have a chat at our stand 115 in the hall.

17.01.2022 Hi to everyone who stopped at our stand in the Wheatbelt NRM's marque last week at the Dowerin Field Day, the weather was a bit off but when the sun shone it was great. Luckily for us we also had the native animals as a draw card, so while the kids were occupied the adults came to use to see what a great new fruit we are introducing into WA and Australia. There were many new potential growers who took information away, email me [email protected] so I can send through further information. Thanks to fellow member Rachel, who put up with me sleeping at her place in Toodyay for a couple of nights, greatly appreciated.

17.01.2022 At the Perth Hills Festival in Karragullen today, our display and stand is part of the Perth NRM marquee that just won, the Best Overall Exhibit. Well done to everyone concerned and Shay who organised our stand.

16.01.2022 Jujubes are now being picked, Chico is the first to hit the market followed by the large Li, then the Sui Men as the Li slow down. Picked yellow/green with a few spots of brown through to solid brown, they can be eaten anywhere in between, its up to your taste buds which ones you will enjoy the most. Eat them fresh, use in cooking or dry to add to your favourite dish. Great for lunch boxes. For longer life keep refrigerated after taking them home. Look for your nearest independent green grocers for supplies, if they dont have them, get your grocer to get in touch with the association for suppliers direct. Happy eating!!

16.01.2022 Join us tomorrow at the Gidgegannup Small Farm Field Day to find out more about this great new fruit growing in WA and the opportunities that it may provide small farm, gardens of big orchard enterprises. Talks on the Jujube will take part in the marquee next door, see your programs for times..........

We even had a visit from a family from Queensland who are looking at being our first Queensland members, bring on next year!!!
