24.01.2022 Thor says "Hello" from the farm.

22.01.2022 Southwest Jujubes in flower for the 2020 season. A full nine (9) weeks earlier than ever before. What a crazy AG year we are having.

22.01.2022 Hello, finally home from holidays and as promised please see the nutritional information that I have been able to obtain regarding Dried Jujube. I do have a limited amount in stock from the March harvest and if you would like some then please contact me here at facebook.

21.01.2022 Today our new flow hives arrived at the orchard complete with a nucleus in each hive. Just in time as luck would have it as the Jujube tree's are fairly close to beginning the first flowering for the season. Many thanks to John from @Donnybrook Bees Supplies for supplying the hives and support getting us set up.

20.01.2022 Hello, I am on holiday in Broome at the moment and been getting inquiries regarding nutritional info of Jujube. Please see below.

20.01.2022 Jujube update from the farm. Would seem that the pollinators have been successful with fruit set from the first flowering starting to appear on the tree's. These photos are from the Chico variety that ripen first here. After the heat of the last week we are enjoying a cooler day and 2-3mm of rain.

18.01.2022 Even though it's raining, the fruit is ripening.

17.01.2022 My friend from Broome, Carol and I checking the Bee's. Wasn't too many home this morning as they are busy pollinating the Jujubes at the moment. Flowering is underway currently.

13.01.2022 Looks like harvest is nearly upon us. Pray for warm days, no rain so that I can ripen and pick these beauties for market.

12.01.2022 Harvesting Jujube x honey from the Flowhive. The two middle frames I reckon must be close to straight Jujube as we harvested them two weeks ago and the orchard are the only tree's flowering around here at the moment. Will harvest them separately to see if there is a taste difference.

11.01.2022 Poor Roobee got too close to the bee's today. A very swollen face.

09.01.2022 Hello, facebook tells me that quite a few people are checking here to hear when the Jujubes will be for sale this year. Well, the very sad news for this years harvest is, is that there really isn't any fruit here this year on the tree's. I am blaming that horrible wind that we had in late January here across the southwest and up in Perth too I believe. It blew here for 4 days and 4 nights with an average windspeed of 45km/hr apparently gusting to 60km/hr at times and when it... had finished the flowers had gone with it. No flowers = No fruit. I am very sorry but I am at the complete mercy of Mother Nature in this situation..... If I hear of any fruit being available, then I will definatley post that information here. I have spoken with a quite a few growers in the Southwest and we have all felt the impact of a pretty 'challenging' season by the sounds of it. Cheers Michelle .

09.01.2022 First tray of Jujubes ready for the markets.

08.01.2022 Don't you just love people who take photos of their lunch and share it on FB. Well here is my lunch using my home grown dried Jujube. Recipe in the comments.

06.01.2022 From tonight's walkabout, a double rainbow!

05.01.2022 South West Jujubes are awake early this year! Fingers crossed for a better season in 2020 after the wipe out last year.

04.01.2022 Spring is upon us and the Jujube trees are s l o w l y waking up. It's been rather cold and a very damp Bridgetown winter but I am not complaining. Looking forward to Jujube Season 5 in 2019.

04.01.2022 It never ceases to amaze me the variety of insect species attracted to the Jujube flowers at this time of the year. They are all very good polinating helpers. The trees are looking as good as they ever have this year. I have been "head in books" this past year trying to increase my horticulture knowledge and have made some changes in as much how I am growing the trees. It's only early in the season and a lot can happen between now and harvest, but I feel like I am making progress.

04.01.2022 Making Jujube Tea aka "daechucha " in Korea. (Part 1) This my first live video so please bear with me.

03.01.2022 Part 3. Wonderfully sweet Jujube tea. This can drunk hot or cold. This is just water and fruit, nothing else. Wish you were here to try it with me.
