10.01.2022 This Saturday July 4th we have one cycling event on. 1. 6:15am women’s road bike ride meet at Maccas Figtree for a 40km bunch ride. Participants must be relatively confident holding a wheel and cycling in a bunch, we will have helpers to assist the newer riders. 2. Cancelled 10:30am mountain bike family and friends roll meet at the Dance Hall Cafe in Audley. Is cancelled until further notice due to work currently being done on Lady Carrington Drive.

05.01.2022 Jules Fitness Coaching will host She Rides Together a women's cycling program. We will be running three, four-week training programs on the following dates: July 11th to August 1st, September 5th - 26th and November 7th - 28th. Week one, we will progressively work through a range of bike handling skills such as gears, corners, holding a wheel, holding a line in a safe, traffic-free environment. Week two, we will practise ascending and descending hills in a low traffic envir...onment. Week three, we will venture out onto some local bike paths and traffic safe roads and ride together in a group. Week four, we will have a quick group ride and come back to cover what to wear on the bike, bike nutrition, some essential bike maintenance, including how to change a flat tyre, what tools to carry, and necessary things to keep your bike running smoothly.
