Two Sheds is located in the hills to the rear of Lorne, straddling country and coast. After our initial concept, we workshopped the design with the clients and evolved it over a number of iterations. We always came back to what was most important and how they liked to live. The laundry/WC... is designed to feel like a bathroom, but with the same function as a laundry. This helped to avoid the need for two distinct spaces and would give a nicer experience to guests using it as a powder room. It’s a traditional Moroccan natural rendering style . It’s a lime render that is polished with a mix of olive soap applied with a stone.
