23.01.2022 Not a painting post but my business is me - I am my brand - it's original and as authentic as myself...and business integrity to me is important. Every painting has a story, every brand has a person behind it - I have 47 years (shh ) of stories and I am the face behind my brand. My YouTube channel from now on will have a slightly different direction - predominantly educative still - but a little more about 'MY' story will be shown. As it will be here along side my art so yo...Continue reading

17.01.2022 Happy Monday I'm so pleased to have these ones up now with more on the way I've a few things in the pipe work atm... so there'll be several work in progress shots on the way. The next few oil paintings need much intricate detailing and I'm expecting to spend a couple of months on them - very excited as they're going to be my first Belgium linen range ... I'm preparing for a 2021 exhibit to challenge myself in different ways (can't be shown but it's not my usual that's for sure). Filming a new demo's underway, and a rock YT tut as requested is being edited The next 4 week acrylic course begins 10th Oct, Saturday's 11am - 1pm. Info on 'Adult classes' on website... but check out these first Have a great day - stay safe x https://www.julessharmanart.com/2020-australian-coastal-oi/

11.01.2022 Hey everyone - things maybe a tad slow here but it's certainly not because I'm being slack - I'd appreciate you sticking around I have a few commissions on the go atm with one being a 1.9m/1.5m oil forest which is the most demanding one to date (due to intricacies not size) - the other's seascapes. I'm understanding most follow me here because of seas...capes so I haven't been posting them here. They're apart of me aswell though and give me huge satisfaction, as does actually being in nature. 04.01.2022 Okay so I posted this one earlier but this is how it scrubbed up in the end with a decent pic in proper lighting https://www.julessharmanart.com/2020-australian-coastal-oi/

04.01.2022 Fresh off the easel 'Serenity'. My posts in recent weeks have been repetitive with wips due to oil drying time. Coastal series nearly done though Oils on canvas Thanks to everyone who shows so much kindness and support toward my art and Tassie gallery you make my world spin #oceanoilpainting #breakingwavepainting #beachsunset #lovepaintings #julessharmanart

03.01.2022 I was reluctant to post this yet, if at all, but decided to share this even though there is no focal point yet Following 2x private lessons today (go Tyler - you did amazing) on little sleep (go Mum's ) I needed to just sit and start a chill piece without thinking... My plans were to simply splodge paint around then ditch it. Although this not finished it shall not be ditched! And I recommend no art be ditched by anyone! ... Why?...because I now hold more than 40 years of blissful painting memories thanks to my dear Mum , which contributes to who I am now. Although seascape's are the newest genre for me out of several, I remember once struggling after long hours - days on end - at the easel getting frustrated - not being able to achieve 1% of what I have with this 'oil' WIP, in under 2 hours today (it's only 40/30cm). Take home message - art is a gift and a learnt treasure - nurture it and it nurtures you. Stay honest and kind even to those who are not. When you need to be somewhere in life and things happen making you STOP and chill... Remember: a few years earlier it was only a dream to be where you are now and have what you have now...and right now there are others dreaming to have what YOU have now in life - continue chasing dreams and NEVER smash those of others - help them achieve their's in ways you appreciate being helped

03.01.2022 Very early in the piece here with this one but am enjoying the challenge of it and the others on the go. A few areas only blocked in Oils 91/61 cm
