24.01.2022 I am so happy to have my jewellery part of this amazing store. The Collective Beat hosts many local and small business and most are handmade products, so you can shop heaps of different unique products in one location.

24.01.2022 Dreaming of diving into sparkling blue waters and feeling that refreshing feeling wash over me. In the meantime, I'll just be over here staring into this stunning turquoise. Be sure to head into @thecollectivebeat Kiama to check out this new piece in person.

21.01.2022 Classic and minimal in style with a whole bunch of character on the inside. These are designed and made to last a lifetime and will be a timeless addition to anyone's collection and now with the addition of being able to add a customised message to the inside, they are a gift that will be treasured for a lifetime also. Now available @thecollectivebeat Kiama or custom order via my website... https://www.juliaparisdesigns.com.au//essentials-secret-me

20.01.2022 Mixed metal studs!! The best of both worlds. Kinda like a mullet.... business in the front party in the back well a reverse mullet maybe then as the party is kinda in the front and the sensible in the back. These babies have a 14k yellow gold circle front on them with a super cool hammered texture, then on the back, you have a sturdy sterling silver post. This is practical and helps to keep them a little more affordable than the all gold version that I also have avai...lable. You can now find these in-store @thecollectivebeat Kiama in my spanking brand new improved space or you can order via my website www.juliaparisdesigns.com.au See more

19.01.2022 I hope everyone has recovered from their long weekend stuffing your face with chocolate, oh wait, was I the only one that was doing that for 4 days Anyway, getting back into the swing of things today and headed back into the studio/office as I have lots of things I need to get working on. There are always a tone of things that I am working on behind the scenes here and sometimes things never end up happening due to time constraints or just terrible lack of planning on my... part (I am a little bit of a last-minute planner) I am trying to get better at planning in order to make shit happen, while still having lots of time to dedicate to my custom orders, which I have a few absolute beauties on the bench this week. One recent custom order that I was absolutely joyed to work on was this stunning pink tourmaline ring (because of the piece but also the customer and her fantastic attitude towards searching for the perfect stone for her ring) Been thinking about a special custom piece? Send me a message to chat. . See more

18.01.2022 We are so close to the weekend I can smell it. This week has been a struggle, it always is after a holiday. A week away feels so good but then getting back into the swing of things and catching up on the to-do list can be tough. I have been working away on some new pieces that will be hitting the stores in the coming days

17.01.2022 This ring is all about the stone! When this beautiful customer came to me she knew exactly what she wanted as it had been on her mind for quite some time now. The colour, the shape, the size, she had a picture in her mind. Tanzanite was the stone that had come into her life at one stage and stuck in her head and she knew she just needed to have it on her finger, so she waited for the right time and apparently the right jewellery maker. ... I am always so honoured when someone comes to me and entrusts me to create such a special and meaningful piece for them, but I think somehow to world works in its own ways, bringing us together so we can make special things like this happen together.

16.01.2022 There is something so satisfying about creating things by hand. Although most of the time my hands hurt and they have cuts and burns and my nails are always dirty and a hot mess, I wouldn't have it any other way. I really am just addicted to taking raw materials and heating, filing, forming, hammering, sawing, and polishing them into a shiny, beautiful finished product. Thankful every day.

15.01.2022 There is a whole heap of happiness here in this one handful. Which one is your favourite?

14.01.2022 I hope you are all having a totally dreamy start to your extra long Easter weekend

13.01.2022 Good things come in small packages! Well, that is what my mum used to always tell me and if you have met us both you will understand why she said that. We are sure not blessed with the gift of height These boulder opals may be small but they sure do pack a tone of character. From the cool swirling ocean blue tones to the vibrant sparkling greens there is a bunch of variety here in this new release of stones. These are all available now for custom ring orders over on my web...site www.juliaparisdesigns.com.au If you want to know more about how this process works just send me a message and I'll be happy to explain.

12.01.2022 I am all about the positive vibes and spreading them as far and wide as possible, but it is often myself that I forget to be positive and encouraging with. In this spirit, I am stamping secret messages inside my Essentials Sterling Silver Bangles. These messages are purposely on the inside to be that hidden inspiration just for the wearer to know is there. There is a batch of these currently available The Collective Beat Kiama with various messages inside but if you have a ...particular special message you are after then you can also custom order them through my website now: https://www.juliaparisdesigns.com.au//essentials-secret-me

12.01.2022 Decisions decisions, how is one possibly meant to choose which ring to wear. Tell me, do you wear one or two rings constantly or do you change it up and wearing something different each day to suit your outfit?

11.01.2022 Well, that came around quickly. This time last week we were all celebrating the beginning of an extra-long weekend and now we are already at the end of the next short work week Short weeks are always great, but you also tend to never feel like you are getting enough done. Fridays are a great day for getting stuff done in my opinion, start the weekend off feeling like you have achieved a lot and clear the mind for some fun and rest over the weekend...... or we can take off early for a half-day and enjoy a long boozy lunch How do you wrap up your week?

11.01.2022 I’ve got some exciting new goodies on offer in my space @thecollectivebeat Kiama. Head in store to check out the specially curated Mother’s Day gift packs which feature some new jewels designed just for mum. Each pack also contains a delicious bath soak form the amazing @hotmessbody

Let me know your size requests in the comments below.

09.01.2022 Happy Easter my friends

08.01.2022 I have been told before that the photos of my jewellery don't do the piece justice. Well, I have to totally agree with that on this opal ring. This ring looks so crazy amazing in person that I was almost willing to steal it from its rightful owner (well it was my size ) But she has gone off to her new home now and I will be happy knowing that someone else is getting great enjoyment from wearing this beauty.

08.01.2022 Wow, here we are in November already! I'm not gonna go on about how fast the year has gone and how shit it has been but simply talk about how pretty this Citrine is Citrine is the birthstone for all those lucky November babies and I fell hard for this stone when I was sourcing some stones for a lovely customer from America who requested a Citrine necklace. When I saw how amazing theses stones were I snapped up a few more of them in different sizes and have them in my little collection. I always forget they are there but now I really, really want to get them out and make some special pieces. If I post it here then I HAVE to make time to do it

Be sure to drop in and check out all the amazing all Australian designed and made creations. @thecollectivebeat_huskisson

07.01.2022 Rhodochrosite. Tough to say but oh so easy on the eyes The name Rhodochrosite comes from the Greek rhodos, meaning rose, and khros, meaning colour, and refers to its vivid pink to rose-red colour. This little stunner is now available @thecollectivebeat_huskisson

07.01.2022 Texture and turquoise. Now available @thecollectivebeat Huskisson.

04.01.2022 Moonstone, a stone for new beginnings, and I think everyone is ready for a new beginning after the year that we have had so far. We all know there are great things on the horizon but it sure does help to have some pretty things to accompany us along the way. This is one of 2 special 14k gold and sterling silver moonstone rings that are now on show @thecollectivebeat Kiama.

04.01.2022 Capturing the beauty of opal in a photograph is always a bit challenging. This is because these amazing and wonderous stones are structured in such a special way. So makes the colours dance and play across the face and burn in every colour of the spectrum? Put simply, is the diffraction of light. Much like a prism, which can refract white light and produce a rainbow effect, opals diffract the white light which is coming from above, displaying those amazing opal colours. This... little pocket rocket of opal was a little easier than some others to capture its colours due to the vibrant blue and greens. What is your favourite colour of opal?

02.01.2022 When one gold band just isn't enough.
