This was a very special cake for a very special person and has been a long time in the planning. Absolutely loved how it turned out. Flavour was raspberry, coconut and white chocolate. 14.01.2022 It says love and I really do love everything about this cake. This cake was a surprise for our beautiful friends celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary. Having free reign on a cake allows me to try new things and that I did. Cake flavour was raspberry and hazelnut layered with white chocolate ganache. The top tier was lemon and coconut layered with vanilla bean buttercream. Decorated with fresh raspberries, macarons and flowers. 12.01.2022 Was nice to be back in the kitchen to whip up this little beauty for my Niece’s 16th birthday. Her only instruction was she wanted a sponge so this is what I came up with. Vanilla sponge with chantilly cream decorated in fresh strawberries dipped in white chocolate. Oh and layered with my homemade strawberry jam. Must admit I’ve missed creating my cakes.
