23.01.2022 Say 'Yes' to the Wedding! Although Weddings may only take place with a maximum of five people in attendance, you can still be legally married. I am happy to do an 'elopement style' wedding ceremony for you now, and a bigger style celebration with all your family and friends later when restrictions are lifted.... Don't let the worries of the world stop you marrying the one you love I will marry you come rain, hail, shine or a global pandemic

20.01.2022 The Handfasting Ceremony dates back to the time of the ancient Celts and can be used today as a beautiful ritual. The couple's hands are tied together using Handfasting cords which can be made of nearly any material, such as silk ribbons, soft vines, knitted bands, woven wire or hemp cord, and can be braided, twisted or macrame'd together. As the couple hold hands, family & friends can be called upon to place the cords over their hands and give them a blessing or explain what... the colour of the cord they have chosen represents. For example, red for love and passion; orange for creativity and success; yellow for joy and laughter; green for health and luck; blue for patience and tranquility; purple for longevity and wisdom; and gold for abundance and affluence. Whatever the material, the symbolism remains the same: physically connecting a couple during a ceremony, declaring they are bound by their love and commitment for one another, and like the cord, which has two individual ends, they are two individuals. Yet, in essence, they are one.

16.01.2022 Winter Solstice is extra special at my home near Tyalgum in the hinterland, between Tweed Heads and Byron Bay. I can see the peak of Wollumbin/Mt.Warning and know that it is the first place in Australia that the sun touches in Winter. With this blessing I am reminded of a childhood movie called called Fern Gully. It was based on the protection of the Gondwana Rainforest that exists in and around the now World Heritage listed Wollumbin National Park. A beautiful movie with a s...trong message, sweetly delivered by the faeries that dwell in the forest. This is sacred land, where the faeries dwell, a place of magic, a place of love and light. The sacred act of Ceremony in such a place amplifies love beyond all realms and makes fairy tales come true! Winter Blessings from my home to yours
