23.01.2022 I hope you have some tissues somewhere handy, because this video is the BOMB. I mean: 4 women on their birth journey, laboring at home or at the hospital, surrounded by their women (doula, midwife, friend), and partners, being strong, patient, hopeful, fearless, determined. All of this for the love of their baby, to achieve their dream birth and reach for the stars. Birth is so powerful. It's the most beautiful and intense life event I have ever been able to document and it m...akes me shiver everytime I look at these photos and videos. I know that these are the most precious pictures these women own, and I am so glad to be able to offer them. It's my small contribution in the swirl of emotions and feels that is birth. Sometimes I get asked why women would want their birth documented. And I am like: Why would they NOT?! Birth isn't to be disregarded, it can and should be celebrated. Feel free to share to any expecting mamma that you know! I would love to hear from her. Music: Breathing.

23.01.2022 Christmas is coming. I took this picture thinking: 'oh let's make a fun Christmas selfie!', except I couldn't and as you can see, I look SO TIRED. Because I am. 2020 has been a hell of a year. Global pandemic, separation with my children's father, and all the responsibilities that come with caring or young children 85% of the time all by myself. With no family around. No money to hire a babysitter. No social interaction during two lockdowns. Being everything for everyone, to... a degree that can be beyond imaginable. I now have a strong village here, but still, this is taking a toll, and I am tired. Now Christmas is in sight, and it's fun for most. My kids are so excited. But the borders are closed and I don't know when they will open. My family is in lockdown in France, their numbers are so high, and we silently all think that NO WAY the borders will reopen any time soon. As we video chat, there is a big unsaid between us: let's not talk about the unbreakable distance, the time that passes, the moments we miss. How old will my children be when they see their grandparents next? How old will I be when I can hug my own mother and father? When will I step foot in my parents' backyard, hear the birds' song I grew up with, laugh with my sister? I know REAL is beautiful, but sometimes real is harsh. I took the picture and I kept it, in order to remember that I was tired in 2020, but I made it through. I chose to share because I am sure I am not the only one left stranded by this pandemic: it was hard for everyone, especially parents and solo parents, for anyone who has close family overseas, for all the vulnerable people out there. Christmas isn't an easy time of year. But if you can, give a hug to the ones you love.

23.01.2022 Childhood: lying in the grass with Mum, giggles in the forest, no concept of time (only good times). Outdoor sessions are up and running! I have availabilities on the weekend of the 19-20th of December, then I close for a couple of weeks. Would you like the last spot of 2020? Contact me today!

22.01.2022 The door. This little one LOVES opening the door and can't sit still during meals. She NEEDS to open the door. And close it. And open it again. Do your children do this?! I feel like my child is partly a cat.

20.01.2022 It's starting to feel A LOT like Christmas! Yesterday, we bought a potted Christmas tree from Koulters Christmas in Monbulk, and came back home with this little beauty. The children LOVED decorating our veranda (and the toddler threw bulbs all over the place just to be extra sure they weren't breaking). It makes me happy to see all the stars in their eyes, waiting for Santa to come. ... Christmas is only a month away and if you have family in Victoria you should be able to catch up, that's awesome! Joyeux Noël, everyone!

20.01.2022 This is the best bath puzzle EVER. They love making new faces with it, and they play for so long! And it makes for a cool photo, with many eyes.^^

18.01.2022 Forest play. There is a really cool forest in Warburton, that is quite popular, and there are amazing dragons nests in there! Mini was just 2 when I took this picture, I feel that we should go back! Have you been before?

17.01.2022 THANK YOU! As you may know, I am a single mum and 2020 has been a hell of a ride financially speaking. Yesterday, I took my 4yo to his first swimming class, and he was overly excited. He laughed and screamed with delight the whole time, he was so proud and happy to be in the water 'like a big boy' and to learn how to swim. I sat on the bench near the pool (cursing I couldn't take photos inside the pool, haha), and felt so very grateful. Thanks to every single one of you who h...as booked a session with me in the last few weeks. Your money helps immensely to pay my rent, afford nutritious food and things like swimming lessons. It allows my children to live a carefree childhood, like their friends who have two parents at home. I remember reading somewhere that when you buy something off a small business, you help the entrepreneur pay for dance classes, while when you buy something from Kmart, you help the CEO to buy another investment property. And it's so very true! So thank you. This little man doesn't know it, but the love you show to my work is allowing him to jump in the local pool on Tuesdays.

13.01.2022 How I truly feel about the fact that we can run around mask free. Family sessions are up and running, and I am taking bookings for January and February. Don't miss out!

11.01.2022 The forest is my playground. For those who haven't met me yet, I am a birth and family photographer who lives in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, 40 km from Melbourne. This is in the forest that I find my inspiration, with gumtrees as tall a a skyscraper, lyrebirds singing in the bushes, and Puffing Billy puffing along our windy roads. The forest is more than just a recreational place for the locals, a space where you can run and hike: it has a soul, and we all learn to wh...isper to it. The first time I drove through the rainforest, it must have been in 2016, starting from the Basin towards Belgrave, which I then called home for 4,5 years. Now I am based in Clematis, near Emerald, and I can hear Puffing Billy's whistle from my backyard. There are a couple of kookaburras waking us up in the morning, flocks of rosellas in the sky, a handful of ringtail possums having a party on our roof at night. Even if I am born in France, I can now call myself a local, and if you are willing to follow me into the woods, I will show you where the dragons nest, where the forget-me-nots bloom and where the creek sings. Welcome to the forest.

07.01.2022 This one never gets old. Summer 2017, a lifetime ago. This munchkin still loves having a bath in the backyard and his face is still so expressive!

06.01.2022 Are you having a baby in 2021? Let's chat. Maternity, Birth and Newborn sessions available.

01.01.2022 Friends & the village As parents we need a village, and it's even more true when you are flying solo. My village is quite amazing and shows me so much support and kindness, I can't even start describing it! In our village, we laugh and play, we chat and eat, we giggle and jump, we listen and smile. ... How is your village going now that restrictions are easing?

01.01.2022 Can't afford a session for your family right now? What about sharing the costs with another one? I often take my camera when I am with friends and love to capture the interactions between the little and big ones. It's so precious and it records important memories. Feel free to have a chat with me about this idea. If you book a session with a friend, here is what happens: you choose a 90 minute session or longer if you wish, then half of the pictures are for one family, the... other half for the other. Sounds good? Message me today to book a date!
