25.01.2022 They just couldn't wait! James and Tabitha were married by me with just two witnesses. It was romantic, fun and intimate. The dress, vows and party are on hold until next year. Looking forward to it!

24.01.2022 It's always lovely to have your work acknowledged and appreciated. Thank you Tammie Van Diest.

23.01.2022 What a glorious, romantic honeymoon Zac and Jemma have enjoyed in Greece. Beautiful Memories.

22.01.2022 We gather at weddings to celebrate an incredible commitment made by people we love. Too often though, a wedding can sometimes seem a little dull and ordinary. A great wedding should make you laugh, cry and everything in between. I love getting to know my couples so that we are not strangers on your day. I’m all about creating personal and meaningful wedding ceremonies that totally get you and your one-of-a-kind love story. There should be eye-contact, laughter and a story or two. It should be captivating; it should bring a smile to everyone’s face and it should be emotional a tear or two is brilliant! Together we can make your ceremony one that everyone remembers and talks about long after the day is over ‘cos it should be!

22.01.2022 Redland Bay Golf Course was green and beautiful for the wedding of Jen and Joe. Thank you to you both for the honour of being your celebrant and to your lovely guests for their complimentary comments to me afterwards. Jen you were the most relaxed bride - even a wardrobe malfunction didn't faze you!

Totally perfect for the perfect couple. What a joy to marry a couple that know exactly what they want out of life - just to be together.

18.01.2022 The most beautiful piano playing which set off the tears, emotional, heartfelt vows and a whole lot of love pretty well sums up the wedding of Zac and Jemma. What a beautiful couple - what a beautiful wedding. Fabulous suppliers - @Smile Darling Photography, @Victoria Park Golf Complex.

16.01.2022 One dozen bottles of wine wrapped and ready to go to the Splash of Red 2019 Fundraising Event. Big shout out to Tammie Van Diest for her tireless efforts in putting this event together.

15.01.2022 It is always an honour to officiate at the service of a war veteran. On Friday last week, we said farewell to 87 year old Kevin Christensen - a veteran of the Korean War. I presented the Eulogy and learned about the life of an ordinary Aussie bloke who joined the Royal Australian Navy and was assigned to serve as a gunner on HMAS Culgoa for a 9 month deployment providing vital bombardment support to the troops on land in Korea. After leaving the Navy, Kevin settled in Wynn...um and then Capalaba raising their 5 children with his wife Joyce. Kevin was a keen golfer, a long time member at Howeston Golf Club. We have lost another true hero. And so...... We honour our shipmate, Kevin Christensen, as we toll the bell to mark the end of his final watch. Well done Kevin, well done. It was a great voyage. You have served your final watch. Rest in peace. See more

14.01.2022 Spent the last 3 days at Conference with the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants. Excellent presenters and workshops, networking opportunities and just a little bit of fun! I met so many amazing, dedicated celebrants and learned so much! I'm always striving to develop my skills to enable me to deliver the best possible ceremony for your celebration. The Conference delivered that and much, much more. Happy 25th year AFCC!

12.01.2022 Wow! We said goodbye to Jean today with hot pink. Bright and beautiful for a gorgeous lady.

11.01.2022 Gorgeous roses and lush greenery transform a simple timber arch into a stunning wedding backdrop!

11.01.2022 What a joy yesterday to conduct the service for Margaret Fell. Margaret was born in 1914 and she died 3 weeks shy of 105! Margaret was active to the end enjoying day trips, bingo and trivia and the all important daily wine o'clock with her girlfriends. Margaret's shared her secret to longevity with her son.... "Keep Breathing" she told him!. What a cracker! I'm sure Margaret is enjoying wine o'clock in Heaven. RIP.

06.01.2022 How time flies. It's been 5 months since the wedding of Brooke and Dan. A beautiful day at gorgeous Kingscliff Beach. Happy Happy Day!

05.01.2022 What a privilege for me today to conduct the funeral service for 97 year old WW11 veteran Norman Farmer. I presented the Eulogy and learned about the life of an ordinary Scotsman who volunteered when WW11 broke out and who did an extraordinary job in The Royal Navy - as did so many. Gunner Farmer was serving on HMS Rodney on 27 May 1941 when, along with other ships, engaged in a pivotal naval battle with the German battleship Bismark. Norman was the starboard 6" gunner. HMS R...odney fired 716 6" shells and 340 16" shells and is credited with inflicting the most damage to Bismark which sank that day. Both sides suffered terrible loss of lives that fateful day. Norman settled in Sydney after the war, worked hard and a raised his family - rarely speaking about the war. We have lost another true hero. And so...... We honour our shipmate, Norm Farmer, as we tolll the bell to mark the end of his final watch. Well done Norm, well done. It was a great voyage. You have served your final watch. Rest in peace. 04.01.2022 A fabulous afternoon at one of the most picturesque wedding venues in the Redlands - Redland Bay Golf Course. I was "celebrant on standby" for the lovely Laurel-lea in case the M1 was tricky. M1 was clear - so I happily joined in as "guest" at the wedding of Victoria and Declan. Beautiful couple, beautiful vows, beautiful ceremony. #redlandsmarriagecelebrant #julieccelebrant #lifeevents #weddings #marriagecelebrant www.juliecelebrant.com.au
