24.01.2022 Everyone loves a story. Emails like this one is what keeps me going... To give you the story.... I have a lovely family of 4 travelling to Fiji for a holiday they've been so excited for. If they were to cancel they would have lost the money for the accommodation and the flights would have gone into a credit. We all know Fiji isn't cheap.... The result in the change... after speaking to two different airlines and two different hotels in Fiji, they're now travelling in October on the same holiday for no extra charge and they didn't have to spend one minute trying to make this happen. Their email to me.... Amazing. Thanks so much Julie. So sad to hear how badly the industry has been hit already. Can only hope that we'll be able to travel inside Australia without any worries sooner. Will always use you now even for domestic travel you've been an absolute lifesaver! I've spoken with friends that are trying to rebook accommodation and flights for overseas travel that they booked themselves and they've gotten nowhere for 4 days! Can't even get through. A grateful client is what gives me the energy to do the same thing tomorrow and hopefully get the same result. I'm not sure what I was thinking but I even offered to try and help their friend.... the things I do :-)

Here's what you need to know.... ...to make sure you do not get a fine. The surprise move has caught many off guard, with Queensland Police only providing an update to media at 12:30pm today. The declaration forms are only valid for seven days so please note this if you are intending to travel from QLD over the NSW boarder and back. The Queensland Entry Declaration can be accessed at www.qld.gov.au/border-pass and is valid for seven days. So if you have friends or family coming to Tenterfield over the coming weeks and school holidays, be sure to let them know this information.

This has lead to various states introducing different levels of restrictions. This is still a developing situation and is changing rapidly. At present each states restrictions are below: * Updated * Queensland (QLD) - Anyone entering QLD from 20 SA LGAs will be required to enter 14 days paid hotel quarantine. For full information refer to QLD Health.... Victoria (Vic) - Anyone arriving into Vic from SA will be interviewed and may be required to undergo a rapid test. Tasmania (Tas) - Anyone entering TAS from SA from today will be required to quarantine. Tasmania is also asking anyone who has been in SA since last Monday to self-isolate. 02.01.2022 Good morning, Another day.... another announcement. I won't flood this page with industry updates BUT I know Australian’s love to travel Virgin so here is their latest update. Virgin Australia grounds all international flights from 30 March. Virgin Australia is grounding its international fleet in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The airline made the announcement in a statement to the ASX.... All international services will be suspended from March 30 to June 14. Some routes will be suspended by 20 March. The airline is also slashing domestic capacity by 50 per cent until June 14. See more

Doctors in India have been successful in treating Coronavirus. Combination of drugs used: Lopinavir, Retonovir, Oseltamivir along with Chlorphenamine. They are going to suggest same medicine, globally. Researchers of the Erasmus Medical Center claim to have found an antibody against coronavirus. A 103-year-old Chinese grandmother has made a full recovery from COVID-19 after being treated for 6 days in Wuhan, China. Apple reopens all 42 china stores, Cleveland Clinic developed a COVID-19 test that gives results in hours, not days. Good news from South Korea, where the number of new cases is declining. Italy is hit hard, experts say, only because they have the oldest population in Europe. Scientists in Israel likely to announce the development of a coronavirus vaccine. 3 Maryland coronavirus patients fully recovered; able to return to everyday life. A network of Canadian scientists are making excellent progress in Covid-19 research. I have to have a system-... - My first priority is to get my clients back home into Australia. - Then I'll be moving onto bookings in departure date order. - The refund process can take anywhere from 6-8 weeks. - At this stage I'm only looking at bookings departing before the 30th June but if you'd like to reassess your booking for a departure after that date of course I'm more than happy to do so. I am still taking phone calls but there is a high chance you'll get my message bank as I'm having to be on hold to suppliers for sometimes up to 5hrs just to get through to them. The government has effectively put into place a level three travel advice for travel of Australians overseas to limit the spread of COVID-19.
