20.01.2022 On my 40th birthday, a very dear friend of mine presented me with a beautiful hard cover book, inside which she had transcribed some of the most beautiful poems and prose on the subject of friendship and love. This has been a treasure of mine and I've occasionally added more poems to the pages as I've discovered them. Leo Tolstoy's writing makes a few appearances in my book. One of my wedding-related favourites is this "When you love someone, you love the whole person, just as he or she is, and not as you would like them to be." Happy isolation, everybody.

07.01.2022 Spring is such a beautiful time of year for weddings. Last weekend's wedding overlooked the water at Southport Yacht Club, this week heading to Maleny for a rural retreat wedding. I love my job!

05.01.2022 It's been a long time since my last post on my Celebrant page, so here's an update on what's been going on in my life lately. My husband and I recently got the news that my son and his partner are pregnant and expecting their little one in late July. We're going to be grandparents and it's so wonderful to see the unmitigated joy on Matt and Maddie's faces. They are so excited to be entering this new chapter in their lives together and we wish them every happiness.
