23.01.2022 Happy Friday crafty friends. I hope you're enjoying this day, even in the current circumstances. It's a beautiful day here in Melbourne. I've had a some what frustrating morning so far. I have decided to bring a blog post to you each Friday, just to have a way to show you how to do fun little projects. My first one was last Friday and I hope you liked it. Today.. I wrote a great blog on one of my favourite products, texture paste. The blog was great, I spent a few... hours writing it, then I closed it and went for a walk. I just opened it to add the photos and put in the finishing touches, and guess what, it hadn't saved, all that work lost! Sigh! Soooo I'm going to show you the photos now, and go back and start the blog all over again! At least I didn't cry, must be the beautiful sun streaming thru my windows! My crafty time has been sorely limited while our renovations have been going on, but now we are coming to an end I am able to spend more time in the craft room. 18.01.2022 Happy Thursday crafty friends. I hope you get a chance to make it outside in the sunshine today. I'm at work today, but I did sneek in a quick craft session this morning. I got a bit distracted, I was supposed to be cleaning up my craft room. Ha Ha. Has this happened to you? I was sorting my thin cuts and decided to make a few tags instead! Well, I put the thin cuts away after, and I used up some scraps, that counts as cleaning doesn't it??? Hope you all have a great crafty day.

03.01.2022 Happy Wednesday crafty friends. I just had to share this new card with you. I'm so happy with the way it turned out, again I used stamp sets I had only lightly used before, and used watercolour paints and white embossing powder. Lots of techniques, and I just love love the results. I finished the card with a light splatter of the clear shimmer brushes. I find the clear shimmer brushes are just do versatile, they add just that touch if sparkle to add to your project. Such a great value product. 02.01.2022 Happy Saturday crafty friends. I'm just popping in to show you something cool I discovered yesterday. If you later a shimmer brush over patterned paper it's gives an amazing shimmery effect. See the photo, I've used gold shimmer brush on a yellow patterned paper. I'm in love with this technique and will be using it a lot. You could also add clear shimmer brush to any papers. Happy crafting friends.
