25.01.2022 My latest creation.....Groovy Grape Throw. So very cosy, soft and warm.

23.01.2022 This Ana Lucia Shawl is a gorgeous and versatile garment that would suit any occasion. Wear it as a scarf during winter, dress up a plain dress or wear it casually with jeans. The tassels can be removed if they're not your thing! The colour (Licorice YumYum!) will suit any outfit, starting with a charcoal grey across the top and easing through the colours to a soft creamy grey at the bottom. Each corner of the triangular shawl has a beaded tassel, with a black and a blue bea...d on each one. It is a lightweight shawl using a cotton/acrylic yarn which is perfect for these cooler evenings. This is an ideal gift for Mother’s Day, a special birthday or even a retirement gift. Measurements: Approx 160cm wide and drop is approx70cm (excluding tassels) $120 including postage within Australia Pattern by Wilmade.com

20.01.2022 I've put down my crochet hook and picked up my knitting needles. I love this beret pattern and especially love the autumn/winter colours.

20.01.2022 Happy New Year to you all. I hope you had a great Christmas and New Year and were able to spend it with your loved ones. I’ve been very quiet since before Christmasjust getting on with things and preparing for a family Christmas at my place, which was lovely. Plus I managed a couple of short trips away to see in the New Year. My projects over the past few months have been some cute little ‘cover-kini’ skirts to slip on over bathers and the ever popular beanies in prepara...tion for Winter. The beanies are so handy to carry with me while I’m travelling so I’m building up quite a collection. My plan for this year is to use up all my left over bits of yarn before I start anything else (let’s see how that goes???). I'm making a very large, thick and warm boho blanket (see pic) and, if all goes well, I'm thinking of starting up my crocheting lessons again, probably closer to Winter time. So stay tuned, stay safe and well and thanks for your following. See more

18.01.2022 My new design - the "cover-kini". A cute beach/pool mini skirt cover up over bathers in 100% cotton. This easy crochet pattern is available in my Etsy store - julieskraftycrochet.

18.01.2022 Two more beanies I have just completed. They are reversible (except if there is a pom pom attached), so two different textures to choose from, depending on your mood.

16.01.2022 I'm loving this buttoned scarf I've just finished. Great textures and something a little different. Yarn is 75% Wool, 15% Nep Fibre, 10% Bamboo and comes from Bendigo Woollen Mill. The colour is "Old Rose". Pattern by Sweet Potato 3.

15.01.2022 A beautiful shawl/wrap to keep out the winter chills. Yarn is from Bendigo Woollen Mill - 75% Wool, 20% Alpaca, 5% Silk.

04.01.2022 I'm not sure if there's such a word but I'm using it.....cover-kini! I finished this gorgeous little french navy cover-kini yesterday. Made with 100% cotton from Bendigo Woollen Mills. Ideal for summer days at the beach, it's lightweight and really cute!

04.01.2022 The cooler weather is here which means winter is just around the corner!!! I've just finished crocheting this gorgeous large blanket that is quite thick and will keep you warm and toasty during those freezing cold winter nights. Measures approx 170cm x 145cm. $180.00 includes postage within Australia.

02.01.2022 I haven’t posted in a while, I’ve been laying low with this COVID virus, which has given me plenty of time to make heaps of beanies. Some are displayed in The Garden Cafe at Seacliff on Wheatland Street. Great food and coffee there and dog friendly. Here’s some of my latest creations.

01.01.2022 The last of my market bags. A beautiful lilac crocheted bag with beaded tassel and mandala base. $30 includes postage anywhere in Australia.
