24.01.2022 Do you know how sometimes you can just look at a room and know that something is missing? All the components of a complete design are there (color scheme, furniture, decor items) but the entire room just feels a little flat. If this sounds familiar, you are not alone my friend! I might just have the answer you need: texture. Texture gives personality to a space. It can challenge and awaken your senses and give you emotions and feelings you’d be surprised you’d get just from a room. Texture is the component that helps elevate your interiors to the next level so don’t be afraid of implementing them in your own place!
19.01.2022 What a view!!! All these long weekends ahead got me like: take me back to Santorini please !! Those white painted villages that stand on the top of the high cliffs, ohhhh what a dream!! Santorini is defo one of my fav spots in the world. The island radiates a beaming light and a sense of optimism, brightness and tranquility. The whitewashed walls complement the wild beauty and brings balance to the place. ... Do you know why the walls in Santorini are painted white You’ll be surprise when I tell you that the actual reason is a lot more practical than what you think. The island has very hot summers and the bright sun is present several months of the year, so making the houses heat resistant the summers are much more tolerable and pleasant. Painting the buildings white to reflect the harsh sunlight was a necessary and practical way to stay cool but, at the same time, those white buildings radiate beauty everywhere and makes Santorini so unique!
