17.01.2022 If someone had said to me that 2020 was going to be the year of staying at home and not physically connecting with friends and family, I would have laughed out loud at the absurdity of that statement. Well, as we all know this has become that year and so much worse for so many people. Viktor Franklin, a Jewish psychiatrist who survived years of living through unspeakable events that occurs in Auschwitz wrote a book called Man’s Search for Meaning. He found that those who s...urvived those horrific conditions where not necessarily the strongest or fittest, but those who were most connected with a purpose and lived by their values. Those not connected with a deeper purpose, who had lost sight of their values, where sadly those that lost the fight to live. He wrote in his book the following "We who lived in concentration camps can remember the men who walked through the huts comforting others, giving away their last piece of bread. They may have been few in number, but they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last human freedoms to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances; to choose one’s own way." After recently reading this it got me thinking how can I better live by my values and serve my community? " Inspired by Viktor Franklin’s wisdom, I have created the Values Based Living program that will help teach you how to live a values based life no matter your environment. 13.01.2022 So often fear keeps us small. It stops us from moving forward, from creating the life we dream about. The first step in moving forward, in overcoming our fear is to just begin. It doesn’t need to be perfect, instead every day work towards making it better.

Everything doesn’t need to be perfect to begin, just begin - that’s the first step. Do something.... 04.01.2022 I know the official RUOK day isn’t until Thursday, but I woke this morning feeling an intense heaviness and sadness after yesterday’s announcement here in Melbourne. It’s left a lot of us feeling deflated, anxious, angry, sad and fearful of what the future will hold. There is a mix bag of emotions going on at the moment. So I wanted to reach out and ask RUOK? I also wanted to let you know you’re not alone. Don’t sit in this space by yourself, reach out.... All it took for me this morning was a phone call from a friend, to help me raise my vibration and lift me out of my funk. Spend time observing yourself, how you interact with others, how you respond to situations and reflect on that behaviour. Are you behaving in a way that reflects your values? ...
