21.01.2022 Just home from Maffra Dramatics production of the Little Shop of Horrors. This production deserves full houses. The acting, choreography, singing, music, costumes and scenery props were all quite stunning. Well done to everyone involved.

16.01.2022 Last community rehearsal for the year tonight. Orchestra at 5.45 for an hour in preparation for Thursday’s Carols at Briagolong and Carols by the Barrels on the 20 th. Community Choir for Christmas has performed wonderfully twice now. We have Sale Carols tomorrow evening, again on Thursday at Briagolong and at the vineyard on the 20 th. This group will re-form next year for something special......orch will recommence in feb on Monday’s at 5.45.pm

12.01.2022 The Sale Primary School Japanese musical, Ishun Booshi is now over,I helped the band for four weeks and did a rehearsal and three public performances: the students were wonderful.i love the dreamy pic, a parent kindly took my iPad to do group pic, I’m laughing at how Loretta and I have been struck with angel light.....we didn’t realise!

09.01.2022 I’m delighted to announce, THREE YEAR OLD MUSIC will be available in term 1, 2021 at Julie Ward School of Music with the very enthusiastic and highly qualified Lauren Patullo. Classes will be limited to four students for half hour sessions weekly on Wednesdays, but other days will be offered in future. Lessons will be $15 per week, with a minimum payment of five weeks $75 to be paid on enrolment. Contact Julie on 0428673423 for further information. This baby photo was taken to celebrate the fact he was returned... after being removed from his Pram at the Pakenham show ......our large family is SO lucky to exist! Apart from being a builder in Sale, dad spent all his free time representing local government, rotary (Paul Harris Fellow) etc. Other pic is Dad and Mum, Gertrude in their role of Mayor and Mayoress of Sale which they held for nine years! 07.01.2022 So sad to hear of the passing of our friend and wonderful musician, Dave Rebbechi. Dave was an honorary member of the Wellington Community Orchestra, his trumpet obligatos were a delight for the audience at Briagolong Carols by Candlelight for many years. We will miss him greatly. Condolences to his family.

04.01.2022 Amazingly proud day for this Mum! Stephen was guitarist for Lea Salonga two soldout concerts at QPAC yesterday. Lea was wonderful and Stephen played perfectly (of course) One of his biggest thrills was playing with seventeen other spectacular musos, including the Musical Director for Chicago on piano! Great experience and contacts! I loved it!

03.01.2022 Two lessons done yesterday! Went well using messenger, but students need to get me on my Julie Ward page, not Julie Ward school of music . Pianists need to set up their iPad or laptop to right of keyboard so I can see face and hands on keys if possible. Be able to swing book around to camera so I can look if I need. Singers are not so restricted, just dont stand with a light directly behind you. Hopeful to get to everyone next week. Thankyou. Julie
