21.01.2022 Rose pruning part 1

14.01.2022 Hello to my existing and future clients, I have decided to create a business page for my gardening services that I am offering in Gembrook and surrounds. Don't forget to book in for a pre-Christmas tidy up this December! Thanks for your support

09.01.2022 Some thoughts on sowing root vegetable seeds

09.01.2022 If you haven't already started to think about netting your fruit trees, now is the time to do so. Most Summer & Autumn cropping fruit trees have set fruit by now, and many of our cheeky local birds will come and have a peck of the tiny green fruits well before they even start to ripen. If you want to keep your crop and aren't happy to share with wildlife, now is the time to get your netting up. ... If you are using a fine netting that doesn't allow bees through, make sure your tree has set fruit and doesn't require further pollination before netting. Happy Gardening

08.01.2022 Time to split up your strawberries if you haven't already, it's an easy job and you'll get more and larger fruits come Spring and Summer Please excuse the glarey video, we are getting some serious sunshine in Gembrook right now!

07.01.2022 Rose pruning part 2. Sorry about the glare, I hope this video still helps you If you have any questions then please don't hesitate to ask

05.01.2022 We have some gorgeous weather on the way this week, with spring just around the corner, so it's time to get stuck into the garden! Todays reminder is that now is the time to be pruning your camelias, or immediately after flowering (there's early and late varieties). Most camelias tolerate a very hard prune, so if you have older trees that you'd like to bring back to a bushy form, they will appreciate having one third removed. ... I am reducing many of my older trees by half this year, which may seem drastic, but I know they will re-shoot beautifully. If anyone has any gardening questions at all please don't hesitate to contact me, I'm more than happy to answer your calls and messages (all totally free of charge) Take care and happy gardening
