24.01.2022 I love Steampunk, but it is not everyone's flavor. However, here it has been used very well. The bold colours are no longer the main feature, and the artwork gives the impression of a "window" and tricks the mind that the space is lighter than it is.

15.01.2022 Well, we are all in the know, Living Coral is the Pantone named colour of 2019. It has already caused unrest amongst various groups as to the lack of respect for the dying corals around the reef, specifically here in Australia. Why not look at it as an awareness opportunity of the beauty of the reef corals instead! The colours for 2019 are bold and definite, with the softer pastels thrown in. Gone is the grey tones of the previous few years. Using this colour will be a challenge! Ideas forth coming. Dulux have also listed their colours.

03.01.2022 So, continuing on with light rooms or dark rooms. Recently, we went out to a newly renovated hotel for dinner. IT was a nice renovation, all light and airy, felt clean and spacious. The walls were white, the floor timber, the chairs and tables basic. You would call it very neutral.
