24.01.2022 What a wonderful weekend I had with my new friends from the Ducati Club!!! As you can see from the photos, they lent me their bikes to take for a ride. Afterwards we stood around for this bonding photo. They were great guests who had a great time staying.

23.01.2022 Will there be Snow this long weekend??? With the recent cold snap all fingers are crossed for the white stuff to fall. With falls in Armidale and a light dusting in Glen Innes yesterday, we could be in for a chance... What a terrific time for the travel restrictions to be lifted and tourists to be able to visit our town and perhaps capture some snow...

21.01.2022 Was great having my friends from the Lotus Car Club pop in to take me for a drive on the weekend. We had such fun together they decided to stay the night with me. They were most impressed with my driving skills!

18.01.2022 Everyone in Tenterfield is getting very excited about all the banging that will be going on Saturday night! The Annual Lions Cracker Night will be on. There will be a bonfire and fire drums to be lit. The fireworks display will happen at 7.30pm.

18.01.2022 Our names are Deb and Greg and we have very recently taken over the motel. We have been extremely busy since then, doing lots of maintenance and cleaning. This has ranged from replacing fly screens that were well past their use by date, removing generations of dead flies from window runners, scrubbing grubby floor tile grout with a toothbrush, and so on. We have replaced some very worn towels, and our next plan is to replace place bed quilts that are in the same condition. Our aim is to make your stay with us as a welcoming, friendly, clean and very comfortable experience. We hope that you choose to stay with us when visiting the beautiful town of Tenterfield.

13.01.2022 I just love this time of year. Autumn has come and the trees are changing colours. One of my favourite pastimes is to get out and have a good old roll around in the leaves. Really gives my fur a shine.

11.01.2022 No the motel is not burning down. Recently we had some very brave souls staying with us, volunteer firefighters from the surrounding areas. They were battling a bushfire several kms out of town. Luckily there were no injuries, not even after eating my cooking! They are certainly some of the unsung heroes of our community.

11.01.2022 Come on down and bring your water wings! Yes we certainly copped a downpour the last couple of days. As it's -1 degrees tonight, really looking forward to a moonlight dip.

10.01.2022 We had a special guest last night, Mr Mike McClellan. He was the singer/songwriter of many brilliant compositions, including 'The One I Love', 'Rock'n Roll Lady', 'Song & Danceman', to name just a few. He and his wife were off to the Tamworth Music Festival, where he will be appearing as a featured act. I did offer to accompany him for a duet, but he left rather hurriedly!!!

07.01.2022 Who are these stupid sheep and what are they doing? They're the JJs, the Jumbucks that sit at reception. They've heard about the Emmaville Sheep Races (a nearby town) and have been madly practising for the big event tomorrow.

02.01.2022 Roll up, roll up, roll up! The 139th Tenterfield Show is on this weekend, 5th and 6th February. I have put my entry in for Miss Showgirl, but surprisingly haven't been contacted as yet??? James Blundell will be playing on Saturday night, so I am awaiting his call for a duet.
