Being deaf, Nevaya takes part in private lessons with K who’s so supportive of her swimming journey. Nevaya’s mum loves watching her daughter grow in confidence during each of K’s lessons. 02.01.2022 Enrolling kids into swimming lessons needs to be at the top of every parent’s to do list. Why? We usually see a loss in confidence & skill if children have more than three weeks off swimming lessons. Considering most Victorian children have had more than six months off, the loss in confidence and basic, life-saving skills is concerning. There are a few things you can do to ensure your kids safety around water: - Get in touch with us as soon as you can to secure your child...’s enrolment. - Be on heightened alert around water. Ideally, be in the water with your kids. - Talk to your kids actively about water safety & the fact they may need a bit of practice before they’re back to swimming at the same level they were earlier in the year. Send us a DM to enrol your kids with us! And tag a friend in the comments below who might be interested in joining our JUMP! family.
