24.01.2022 Amazing Sunday Afternoon We didnt plan on doing anything special today apart from go for a Sunday drive. Well while out for our Sunday drive this morning we ...decided to head out to Windows on the Wetlands to take a few photos and let Rothy stretch his legs for a bit. After we finished checking out the Wetlands, which were dry by the way because its dry season at present we decided to head to one of the jumping crocodile cruises .... there are a few cruise Operators out that way and chose the Original Adelaide River Queen Jumping Crocodile cruise. The boat had two levels, with the bottom level being enclosed and air conditioned, was great on a warm day like today. The upper level is open where the croc feeder stands to feed the jumping Crocs. If you are ever up this way its worth while to take in one of these cruises up the Adelaide River out Arnhem highway. Check out the videos of a few of the 7000 Crocs that are found in the Adelaide River. Was an amazing afternoon

23.01.2022 Kakadu - jumping crocs We started our Kakadu adventure with a tour with The Original Jumping Croc Cruise on the Adelaide River and it was UNBELIEVABL...E!! Hands down one of the best things weve done on our trip. In just an hour we cruised down the river and saw heaps and heaps of crocs. There are 7,000 of them in there!! We were surrounded at one stage and the boys started fighting over the meat so we had to move away. We fed lots and got so, so close to the beasts, some even nudging the boat or using it for a back scratch! Our favourites without doubt were the mighty, 100-year old, 6m long Aggro and then the amazing jumper Little man. He completely cleared the water to get the meat! Another lady croc even gave us a little show when she tap danced the water . As if the crocs werent enough, the guide then threw out some meat for lots and lots of kites that then swooped down to the boat. So cool! We finished the day learning more about the local environment and wildlife at The Window at the Wetlands and then camped at Hardies Lagoon, which was dusty but so, so peaceful with only one other camper there. For those of you who are lucky enough to be able to visit the NT at the moment, make sure you add it to your list. For those that cant, pencil it into your trip planner, you wont be disappointed! . 22.01.2022 Weve been in Darwin now for 3 weeks! And weve seen more crocodiles than you could ever imagine. This tour on the Adelaide River gave us a whole new perspectiv...e on murky water. They came from anywhere and everywhere and while there was one at the surface, there was another 5 under the boat! 19.01.2022 Jumping Crocs, Adelaide River . Wowsers . We all had the most amazing time with the guys from the Adelaide River Queen who Dean and I had cruised with abo...ut 17 years ago. The cruise was just as amazing this time as it was back then. . Tamara was awesome at keeping the audience (especially the kids) entertained. We saw in excess of 15 crocs in the hour including big boy Agro. Jody the Jabiru and all the Kites coming in for a feed were a highlight.
