25.01.2022 YES, we’re open today! Take that COVID! Masks are a requirement to be served, and we have to return to our seats (no dancing ), but it’s a small price for freedom Now while COVID can’t keep us down, state-supported organised religion can While I’d happily turn away any wayward Christians who were lured into our bar on Good Friday by our cosy fun vibe, and only serve our smooth Australian Espresso Martinis or deliciously wide range of independent craft beers to people of... other or no faiths, the QLD government says we must be virtuous. So we’re shut all day tomorrow. BUT we’re back with a vengeance this weekend with Alpha Stomp rocking up a storm on Saturday night, and on Sunday Shantyman & Friends will be cheering us out of our lockdown blues with rollicking sea shanties. Plus we’re launching a new choccy cocktail this Easter, stay tuned!

16.01.2022 Aaaaand we're back! We're open from tomorrow 4pm and back to our usual hours. What's changed for us is that you need to be seated and no more dancing . YOU don't need to wear a mask while in the bar, but we do. Maybe that'll make your night with our ugly mugs masked away! Otherwise, due to being a small, cosy, intimate, chilled venue, our patron limits haven't changed from 32 people inside and 12 outside. If there's 6 or more of you please book, otherwise walk on in!
