25.01.2022 The following piece by mixed media artist Mary Richards is beautifully unique and must be experienced in person to take in it's lush texture. Title: In memory o...f her By Mary Richards Dried native flowers, plaster, oil paint, gold leaf and shellac on canvas Artist Statement: I love working with textures and using nature as a reference point in my artworks. In this work I wanted to approach the Idea that something dead can relive as something beautiful. Made in memoriam for my daughter. See more

22.01.2022 I just adore this piece by local artist, Shea O'Keefe, owner & director or ArtMania wangaratta. We are so lucky to have such talented women in our community. #MightyGirl https://www.facebook.com/events/620613131947415/permalink/649227882419273/

16.01.2022 Women of Our Land, a beautiful exhibition of works by North East Victorian artists is now open at the Wangaratta Visitor Information Centre. If you can’t see the exhibition in person, you can see it on the Women of Our Land event pages each day until the end of December. Congratulations, Ladies! https://www.facebook.com/events/620613131947415/permalink/626652251343503/

15.01.2022 Regarding Sis’s film ‘Music’ & her casting of Maddie Ziegler as a non-verbal autistic lead: This is a really important perspective from an advocate with autism who articulates this far better than I ever could, because this is an issue in which it is important that other artists AMPLIFY the voices of the disabled & stand beside them, rather than quiet & speak for them. To say I am immensely disappointed in SIA is an understatement. I am a big advocate for disabled artists- no one can ever replace their lived experience. To not cast an autistic actor is pure laziness & now she’s simply been caught out. #disabledartistsmatter #listen #IStandWithDisabledArtists https://www.instagram.com/p/CH3pcdKhF6I/?igshid=5pijv5xpvgw3

03.01.2022 Such a beautiful piece. One of my favourites from the Women of Our Land exhibition currently open to public at the Wangaratta Visitor Information Centre. & The exhibition is better seen in the flesh so you can appreciate the many multidimensional works.
