23.01.2022 As part of a Covid 19 Challenge I have been nominated by Susan Payne to show one Watercolour painting per day, for 7 days. DAY ONE - as it is winter here in WA it is Humpback Whale migration time again!. I saw one off the shore While walking at Burns Beach only last week! this painting is called WHALE SONG (A3 size ) I can post unframed anywhere in the world, OR deliver framed locally , PM if interested.

21.01.2022 Day 6 and 7 ...(one painting, 7days) something a little different from me! totally made up as I went along. Both A 3 SIZE, Mushroom Magic and Autumn (not sure if Autumn is finished ???) today I nominate anyone who wants to take up the challenge!!

This painting was inspired by an und...erwater photograph I took of a Turtle I came across while doing a wall dive in Fiji. He was actually sat on a ledge in a small cave, he was quite happy for me to photograph him and made no attempt to swim away. 03.01.2022 DAY FIVE this one is called WAKE UP CALL (A3 size) A Typically Australian scene...Galahs on a telegraph pole. I painted this using a photo I had taken on an early morning walk. Í think Galahs are such characters!, and hope I have captured that in this painting. Did you know that they can live to be 60 years old......

02.01.2022 DAY 4 (show 7 watercolour paintings, 1 per day for 7 days) todays painting is EAGLE RAYS - these are Spotted Eagle Rays, rarely seen unless you are a SCUBA DIVER like me. They are graceful timid creatures that often float in fast current to catch their food. A true privilege to see Today I nominate Jan Pitman to take up the challenge/

01.01.2022 Work in progress...first plaine air and landscape for a long time! Need to finish middle (boats,) and foreground trees and bushes...very windy conditions...and I need to speed up. Trying my new equipment...
