21.01.2022 3609 is in Junee Roundhouse Museum. The museum gratefully acknowledges Transport Heritage NSW, in particular Collections Manager , Jennifer Edmonds for their continued cooperation and assistance with the reconstruction of steam locomotive 3609

19.01.2022 Did you know that steam locomotive 3609 is now in Junee Locomotive 3609 remains the property of the NSW Governments moveable collection and Transport Heritage NSW. The 36 class ran from January 1925 until withdrawn from service in September 1969.

16.01.2022 Junee has its ghost house. Now Junee Roundhouse has its ghost engine. Its a bit daunting walking past 3609 . A blast from the past. What stories were told by the crew who drove this engine, folklore and fact. In its weather beaten state it hides its secrets. Do you know anyone who can shed light on its stories.... 11.01.2022 Gotta like this museum...definitely one of the best...and our entry fees are low. Come and visit during the school holidays..the kids will love sitting in the drivers seat..
