25.01.2022 We are still looking for some volunteers to fill some vacant jobs within our club. We need a secretary as Liz would like to step down. Liz has been involved with the Diesels for the last 15 years which is a massive effort and we cannot thank her enough. 24.01.2022 Reminder that 400 club draw is on tomorrow at the Junee Ex- Services Club. If you have not got a ticket yet we will be selling them from 12pm tomorrow at the club. All coaches will be there from 2pm so players and supporters come down and have a catch up. Draw will start at 4pm so don’t miss your chance to win the $2500 first prize. See you all there

18.01.2022 Update from June Diesels AGM on Wednesday 28th October 2020 Successful points from the Completed Season are listed below - Under 16s Successful Premiership success and underfeated season and showing great promise for the future of the Junee Diesels - The club is in a very strong financial position which has not been seen for a long time with the current Treasurer happy to continue in the role. - The Canteen and workers involved have developed a very strong and successful Food... Department for the Club moving forward - Bill Deacon Complex officially opened and the facility along with the playing surface is one of the best in group 9 Outcomes from the meeting are a business plan is being developed for the club moving forward as well as committee members finialised shortly. Players will be contacted shortly in regards to next year with an emphasis being on local players being looked after with a sprinkling of imported talent being brought in to assist. Coaches who have applied for roles will be contacted shortly to be able to lock in the coaches for all grades for 2021. More information will be put forward in the coming week or two so stay tuned and if you are looking to help out the Diesels moving forward please make contact.

11.01.2022 Attention Everyone. The below is an excerpt from an email from NSW health in regards to grand final day on Sunday Please read and strictly adhere:- There is strictly no entry on the playing arena by anyone not on that list of 25. Please use social media to advise spectators of this rule. This includes no banners in the entry point for any team.... There will be no presentation to the winning team members individually. The Team captain and Manager will collect the trophies and distribute amongst their club members. A lap of honour is permitted but discouraged. As we are in the eye of NSW Health who will have onsite inspectors during the day if you decide to do a lap of honour the team is not to make contact with spectators whatsoever, no kissing, hugging, high fives or hand shakes. All teams are to transition off the field as quickly as possible as the next grade will be entering for warm up. It’s time to get in, shower and leave the sheds so they can be sanitised.
