25.01.2022 Monday 21st September and Tuesday 22nd September 2020 the course will be undergoing rejuvenation. Course closed 2 days. Thank you for understanding.

25.01.2022 If you join Phil Farrugia's warriors in the cancer council the longest day golf event at Junee Golf Club - show your score card at the Commercial Hotel after 5pm and get $5 schooners. The Commercial is also sponsoring nearest the pin at the event. Date: 12 December 2020.

23.01.2022 We are offering golf cart storage in the new equipment shed. Expressions of interest are called for and we expect some competition for the space. If interested please let us know - by filling in the notice at the club. If you cannot come in, then let us know through messenger or similar. NO one Is entitled to a spot, you must apply and have it accepted.

23.01.2022 We are advised we again need to postpone the IGA 2nd round championship originally to be played on 24 October 2020 and expected to resume 31 October 2020. Being dangerous weather is predicted on Saturday it is decided to put back the 2nd round to 7 November 2020.... Knowing issues will be caused by the delays expect a 54 hole championship.

The IGA stableford - a Ham up for grabs ( we are told they are hard to come by this year) for the winner. ... The winners: 1st prise Ham - Rex Parkes 2nd prise ctn beer - Bill Kearins 3rd bottle of wine and cake - Jan Longford. Also our raffle donated by IGA is being drawn that day. The proceeds to go towards new practice nets. The prise(s) 1st Ham, 2nd case of beer, 3rd a bottle of wine. Tickets at the club house. Congratulations to the winners and our supporters - have a safe Christmas. All towards Christmas cheer.

17.01.2022 If you are wondering the Junee Golf Club Ltd AGM for 2020 is set to be 6th December 2020. This was decided on 22nd August 2020 after advice from ASIC and other COVID interruptions to our normal business model. If you are thinking you can offer some positive contribution to the management team we will be calling for notices of interest around November. On 22nd August 2020 the board decided the membership fees would remain as the previous year. This also means the membership year remains as due the same as previous years and fees will be called due from 15th September 2020. Thank you members for your support.

14.01.2022 Some might be unnecessarily concerned by an article on page 64 of Inside Golf Feb 2021 edition. Get a Grip Award was given to the story. Some very important parts of the story include the last paragraph saying Club Constitutions should be reviewed and updated every 3 years Our AGM 20 December and the subsequent adjournment on 28 Dec 2020 actually addressed that point. Looking at the content; it is written in a way that one might think it is a quote from the text book on J...uris Prudence (legal theory) by an aggrieved person or on behalf of a person by a student not yet graduated in law. The article does not mention why boards act as they do when it is prescribed under legislation or regulation and that is a flaw in the reasoning. No board would make a decision without first considering what is required and then the duty to act fairly. The Junee Golf Club Ltd is a responsible entity and any decision is undertaken in proportionality - the impact is proportionate for the circumstance.

12.01.2022 Commbank Simplify now fully active - expect e-invoices to start flowing for member fees due. Other members will be given a manual invoice where we do not have a email address to send to. Fees are due now and effective for 2020-21 from 1 Oct 2020. To clarify - Country Members are $300 pa and this includes affiliation fees.

11.01.2022 Today, we were handed over keys to the 'big shed. Very good job - Andrew Coen and TLine. Thanks also to Steph Cooke for her support to make it happen. A new landmark for Junee.

11.01.2022 Championships 7 November 2020 is 3rd round. 2nd round is cancelled after 2 postponements. 4th final round is 14th November 2020. Competition is stroke.

Phil's wife (lesley) was superhuman for the cake stall and her encouragement to coach the best out of him.

10.01.2022 Junee Golf Club and Kapooka Golf Club has entered into a MOU and offer reciprocal rights as a formal arrangement - we support their club in an effective way through this COVID - 19 period. GOLF NSW has acknowledged the effort of both our clubs and Golf link has also ruled a no disadvantage provision to help us through this year. All is seen as a very positive step into the future and will help us all. Thank you members and sponsors for helping make this happen.
