16.01.2022 Paper on Skin, wearable art competition.... Covid turned what was to be a gala parade into a film for all the world to see. Paper was the backbone of Burnies history, now defunct, but it lives on in this art event. Now you can enjoy these amazing walking works of art.

14.01.2022 Roadtrip to Hobart with my cousin included a visit to Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallerys Colonial section where we found this stunning screen of #botanicalart by our Great Great AUnt, Margaret Hope! She was quite a famous Australian artist in the late 1800s and her works spanned decades and can be found in several Tasmanian museum archives. Its truly amazing to see your heritage playing out in front of you in such eminent works. This was just one of our family stories which we managed to stumble upon....quite a magical trip, indeed! Thabks cuz!
