16.01.2022 Here's a trend that is becoming more common with US based websites...the tendency to indicate English language websites with the US flag icon rather than the Union Jack. Anecdotal evidence shows that some Americans don't recognise the Union Jack as an indication of the English language version of a website. They're looking for the Stars & Stripes icon. Maybe we'll be calling English American one day!

10.01.2022 I love this over the top, extravagant TV commercial for Heineken. It must have cost a fortune. It won a Bronze Lion award at the 2015 Cannes Lions Awards.

09.01.2022 There has been much talk about the Internet of Things (IoT) but it's a long time coming. There have been a few successful innovations like Google's Nest (thermostat controlled by your iPhone) but on the whole, there have not been too many successful products. But Amazon's new Dash Button may be a first successful step to realising the IoT in your home. It is a simple device that allows you to order product (it wouldn't be an Amazon product if you couldn't order something) before you run out. The video below shows how it works.

Probably one of the most difficult categories to be different, the Astra V Drones TVC was shot in Melbourne using local drone pilots (they call themselves pilots).
