25.01.2022 Yesterday (9 Aug) marks International Day of the Worlds Indigenous Peoples - a day of respect and celebration. We have much to learn from the wisdom of our Indigenous Custodians. Their intrinsic connection to nature has kept the Earth in balance and developed expert knowledge on the power of plants for healing, food and creating tools. One of the many traditional plants used is the Billardiera scandens 'GARAWANG' (Wurundjeri), also known as Apple Berry. The plant was a regu...lar food source for its sweet fruit and it is very hardy with some plants known to live up to 80 years. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we live and work. We acknowledge the Gadigal people, of the Eora Nation, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. ... #AlwaysWasAlwaysWillBe #internationaldayofindigenouspeoples

04.01.2022 At Junglefy, we're a 45/55 female to male split. We're working towards parity and we recognise the work ahead for the industry. Women in construction are underrepresented and that brings a whole bunch of challenges that men don't face in their roles. We asked our team, 'what is the change that you would like to see in the industry towards gender equality?' More female representation in construction roles and in boardrooms. A female approach in male-dominated roles means peop...le and business can benefit from human-centric decisions. Female toilets. Did you know that some construction sites don't have female toilets? Let's make work sites fair to everyone and ensure women are treated as equals with respect.
